I really enjoyed your reaction! Born in 1974, I grew up listening to rap music as all teenagers from France did. When I turned 30ish....I gave up on Rap thinking that it was no longer what I used to like and I was convinced that maybe it is now for the new generation to enjoy. Here I am now at almost 50 listening to these freestyles like whooa and sharing them with my friends and students. Buying all I can buy...except for those that won t be shipped to the West indies. I have no favorite....they all are what I was excepting for so long ...that is to say...some reminiscence of the past and a hint of modernity. I m truly greatful for that.
I learnt English thanks to Hip hop and I am still learning the language thanks to these young men.
