Kripal amazing supporting local small enterprises 🙏😊been there in existence over half century superb. This also keeps the old traditional cooking using woodfire and their old traditional masala. Happy Pork/Fish/Mutton Eating @ Mudigere!
Amazing work. Pls continue to explore places that cook traditional Indian food. We need to make them popular so that our rich, culture, cusine continue and just don't die out.
You are such a gentleman.. your attitude and passion is what makes viewing your contact more enjoyable.. kudos .. I have seems some food vloggers who act as if they are some big shots who is doing a service
A beautifully shot vlog .. the expressions that transpired on your face while savouing the dishes were a apt compliment to what the masalas did to your tongue. The close up shots transported me to the very place and I could feel the taste of every dish on my tongue and left craving for a trip to Mudigere From the subtle smile on Mai's face to the vibrant laughter of Lavi Aunty this place has come a long way... But what remains constant is the homely feel while we savour the dishes and the look of content on the face of owners while we relish thier food...
Mr.Kripal Amna You have told us many places and made many videos But when we go there, we don't find that place as good as you show us in the video I have personally experienced it too
I tried their Mutton chops, Pork and rice on 29th August 2024. Traditional Mangalorean fare in Mudigere. I reached there when the owner couple were finishing their lunch. They were good enough to serve me though 😂 Liked the food🥂
Move over software business Spectacular temples Amazing waterfalls Deep forests Great beaches top notch health care facilities cultural fests all will draw flocks of tourists but food tourism is going to be karnataka’s next big Biz
Hi Kripal. Please tell me the best route to take while driving down from Mangalore to Bangalore. Planning to halt at Eddies Mess for a meal en route to Bangalore. The video has really increased my appetite fourfold.
Hey Varun, take the Charmadi ghat route and set your map to Eddie's Mess, Mudigere. You will find the google maps coordinates in the video description.
It’s Mai hotel before I guess. Now it’s in new place before it was opposite side in small home. According my memories it’s more than 50 years old. My dad used to order food from there. Mai means mother in Konkani now it becomes Eddie hotel. But taste remains same from years.
Good afternoon dear Kripal - At the outset would like to wish you and your family A Happy Valentine’s Day . Ok the name of the eatery is unrevealed - Eddie’s mess .The owner is very sweet & humble 👌 His wife Mrs Lavin D’Souzq is ever smiling. Her laughter is genuine & infectious 👌👌 Time for our favourite kitchen tour - Very homely style kitchen 👍 I don’t think I have seen a Citron Lime or know its uses .After 3.30 pm it’s Susegad period for the wonderful couple 😀 Oh this is a vlog that you shot in December’23 . Sorry but why did it take you close to two months to post the vlog ? Anyways seems to be a unique vlog . The ambience is quite calm & cool 👌 Ha ha - Yes it’s indeed a bounty of delicious meaty fare 😋😋 The Kandai fish is called as Barracuda . The fried version with the apt seasoning helps one to taste the true flavour of the Kandai fish. Rice with fish curry is a wonderful combo ? The Mackarel is a strong flavoured fish and I completely agree with your candid feedback. Wow the Pork dry masala brought a real happiness on your face 👍😀 Time for the mutton chops curry with rice . Looks like the subtle flavours of masala coupled with Mrs Lavin’s masala recipe did the trick 👌👌 Every dish that you tasted seems to be a perfect hit for you and their regular patrons . This was such a sweet & wonderful vlog , I truly don’t know when it started and ended as I was so immersed in the vlog . This is also a place on my list . It’s all about finding the time to visit Mangalore . These eateries are hidden gems for the vast majority of of foodies barring the one who stay close by . May God , eternally, bless the couple with loads of happiness, good health & prosperity 😇 You also take care and enjoy your Valentine day with family . Loads of love & respect 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯
Wish you and your loved ones a wonderful Valentine's Day too. The D'Souzas are a very warm and hospitable couple indeed. To respond to your query, typically our content is filmed weeks in advance, Rajesh. Yes, the dishes were the sort that hit home time and again, a special meal and the sort that deserves to be pencilled into one's ity when in the area. Cheers!
