Fever Ray - Sydney - June 5 2024

- When the music programme for Vivid 2024 was announced it was immediately obvious that Fever Ray would be the must see performance, and their first ever Australian concert didn’t disappoint. “Swedish Avantgarde techno pop artist” (not my label, but as good a description as any), Karin Dreijer has been performing as Fever Ray since 2009. “Radical Romantics” is their third album and naturally featured heavily throughout the 16 songs of the show. I’m not sure I selected the best numbers from the night but these are the four I decided upon beforehand:

A brilliant rendition of “Coconut” ended the performance. Wish now that I’d recorded it.
Great lighting and sound throughout, as you’d expect from a Vivid show. Truly a night to remember. It was all filmed by SOH, so hopefully, we'll be able to enjoy a professional recording in the not too distant future. - เพลง

i was there and literally one of the best nights of my life! Found your video so I could relive it :) I was one of the people who first stood up during "Im not done". I was dancing by myself for a bit there lol...but that number was so damn good no one could contain themselves. Was a really powerful moment in the show :)
Yes, a great night. The back of the hall were all immediately up on their feet at the beginning of 'I'm Not Done'. It was an amazing sight. It took a little longer for the front seats to also rise but by the end of the song very few people anywhere were sitting. I was one of the few, trying not to move my camera to the music. Yes, it definitely was one the the highlights. I thought 'Coconut' was another highlight. I hadn't been expecting much from that song but the live version was really amazing.

@@Peter_LiveMusicyeah I was one of the people up the front I meant 👍yep coconut is my next fav track of theirs and I was surprised they played it and it was an awesome closer. I got a bit of footage of it the next night 😌

Haha just read on the coments that they ended with coconuts 🥥🥥🥥 perfect!!!
Here's the full setlist, although 'Coconuts' wasn't really an 'encore'. While the three singers left the stage, the two musicians didn't, starting a long introduction. Brilliant end to the show.
