Jeff Hardy and the Undertaker’s runs from 2007-2010 had me hooked every week. Armageddon 2008 was the first PPV my parents let me buy and the energy of Jeff winning his first title made me a weekly watcher.
I’m a recent fan, I started watching in March. I happened to be in the room while my brother was watching a promo between The Rock/Cody Rhodes that caught my attention. A couple weeks later I also happened to be in the room when the Rock beat up Cody in front of his tour bus; that was the moment I became a fan. I’ve watched every Raw, Smack Down, and PLE since. When I’m bored at work I’ll watch old PPV or famous matches, on occasion I’ll watch NXT. Hoping to attend my first live event soon.
For me it was CM Punk vs The Miz vs Alberto del Rio, TLC 2011, it was the first ever wrestling match I saw and was instantly in love with Punk, been a fan ever since
Undertaker and Edge are the two that got me into wrestling. Never forget that feud in 08. Good times. 😂. Ironically, they're also my one and two all-time favorites
Dude same here! I started really getting into WWE in 08 as well and I remembered when I got into it: It was a Friday night after school and I used to like watching the Dog Whisperer from 8 to 10 before going to bed. However, they stopped airing that show at one point and I was trying to find something to watch in it's place. Then I remember my cousin telling me about a wrestling show that comes on Friday nights at 8 and I decided to tune into Smackdown. Been a WWE fan since I even remember the episode where Vickie Guerrero stipped 'Taker of his world title because he used the Hell's Gate against Edge at WrestleMania.
2006, used to play Smackdown vs. Raw with my cousin for HOURS on his ps2. Finally got my Xbox 360 in 2007 and when I got SvR 2007 I fell in love. Shawn & H became my longtime favs, but I fell out of love in 2011, when Jeff Hardy and Shawn left wrestling respectively in 2009 & 2010. It wasn’t all the way until when WWE 2k22 come out and I became reimbursed into my childhood. Greatly enough, the new storylines with this deep roster got me into wrestling all together since again, recently got into AEW a couple of weeks ago.
Smackdown vs raw 2007 is one of my favorite videogames of all time. First WWE game I actually got when it was the newest game. Even got a sick deal on it from a small videogame shop because it had been returned without the case so it was only like $20😂 still have it actually
My dad was always a wwe fan but I didn't fw it, I watched a few clips of the bloodline and said damn, Roman has aura, got in, and funny enough my favorite wrestlers are Seth and Orton with Roman at a close 3rd
Damn you're lucky because you started watching in the Triple H era and one of the best storylines of all time although you also then know how bad Vince McMahon is 😂😅
Triple H vs Randy Orton’s fued in 09 is what got me into wrestling , i was 7 at the time, my pops and i would watch the raw re runs every saturday on telemundo , i remember watching Triple H break into Orton’s house and i thought it was the realest thing ever, lmaoo, was hooked ever since 👍🏼
Huge fan of WWE in the 00s, fell in love with wrestling watching Bastista becoming the top guy. Stopped watching WWE once CM Punk became a champion in 2011. Decided to go to Wrestlemania 38 (2022) in Dallas (my hometown) purely to check off my childhood dream of attending one. And completely fell in love with WWE again, havent missed a single Raw/ SD /PLE since then!
Mine initially was SuperEyePatch wolf’s video about Roman Reigns it was really well made and got me to dip my toes in pro wrestling. Then what really got me hooked was watching MJFs best insults and his feud with CM Punk who instantly became my favorite.
Like with you I had to fall in love with Wrestling twice, the first was in 2008 with the Undertaker and Edge feud. The second time for me was in 2020 with the Thunderdome era, while it's a time everyone wants to forget for me it was a time where WWE had to get creative. The Boneyard Match, the Money in the Bank in the WWE HQ, the Wyatt Swamp fight, the Hurt Buisness. I grew an appreciation for Drew Mcintyre and Bray Wyatt the latter of which becoming my new favroite. This time around I never saw WWE as a serious sport and it made me appreciate the good storylines and characters all the more.
Yes, sir Edge and Taker, for the win. That's how I started, too. Although I wasn't watching too hard. I really got into it in 2010, and I was already contemplating what was going wrong? It was a low, but I stuck through. 😂
Mine was as a kid in 08 when i came across SmackDown and the first match I saw was Jeff Hardy vs The Big Show. It blew my mind at the time to see a guy Jeff's size fighting Big Show
@@WWExMarigoldshield debut aka survivor series 2012 was my first WWE watch as regular viewers. I have watched little bit ruthless agression era as well but not regularly since I was just born in 2001, watch little bit WWE around mid 2000s and know about every top guy in wwe before watching the WWE regularly in late 2012. My first ple was hell in a cell 2012 then I directly watched survivor series 2012 and become regular viewer of WWE since then
I started watching in 2009 or so and stopped around 2017 and started again during the 2023 road to Wrestlemania and I've kept watching it since. I love it.
I got into wrestling because my family were huge wrestling fans. Some of my family members fell out of it for a bit, but I’ve stayed watching it alongside my dad
The very first CD that I had was Undertaker vs Batista, Hell in a cell, plus Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, & Big Show vs Triple H & Shawn Michaels in a Hell in a Cell 3v2 handicap match. One of the most entertaining matches I’ve ever seen 😂
TLC 2010 was the first ple I ever saw, however, what brought me in was a segment with The Miz the 3 ghosts of Christmas(aka Alex Riley Michael Cole and the angry girls face of when The Miz won the WWE title), Randy Orton Sheamus, John Morrison and Jerry The King Lawler on a random episode of raw.
My Dad took me to a Calgary Stampede Wrestling event, back in 1983. I was only 7 years old at the time, but I was completely awestruck, seeing guys like The Dynamite Kid, Davey Boy Smith, & Bret Hart in the ring. We started going almost every week, after that, & I became a big fan. It wasn't until 1987, when my Dad scraped up the money to buy WrestleMania 3 on PPV, that I got my first look at the WWF. I didn't know, that wrestling was that popular, but 11 year old me, was left speechless, after seeing that huge crowd, & the spectral that was the WWF. I have been a wresting fan, for over 40 years.
I had a cousin who was a fan back in 2012 but I never got into it back then. It wasn't until a friend and I watched Wrestlemania 31 live that made me fall in love with WWE and pro wrestling as a whole. I'll always hold fond memories of that mania.
For me it’s you Santi ! I stopped watching during dog food storyline with roman reigns but in 2022 I randomly found your video in my feed and i followed you to watch video every week to catch up but now I have become a hardcore fan of wrestling again, now I watch wrestling live every week . Thankyou Santi !!
Mine was watching The Iron Claw last year. It was such a great movie that reinvigorated my love of wrestling. My dad introduced me to WWE in the mid 2000s when I was a kid but I don’t really remember much outside of loving Rey and Cena from that era and then I fell off of WWE around the time The Shield and Wyatt Family feud was starting IIRC. My dad continued watching but unfortunately he passed away in 2016 so I never really had the chance to start watching again.
I became a wrestling fan in 1999, it was Kane that got me hooked, I was so into it I started school wrestling (6th grade) in 2001 and would continue until I finished high school in 2008. I then found a local promotion started training there in 2009, had my first pro wrestling match within 4 months of training and have been killing it ever since.
The thing I love about this is understanding the fact that people get into things differently. Its always nice to get to know other people’s experiences in gaining interests into franchises like WWE
I got into wrestling in the fall of 04 from my uncle and absolutely loved it until 08 because I felt I was told old for it at 13. Didn’t follow it up until the royal rumble this year because it was happening locally. Didn’t go but I was working downtown the day of the rumble and man the electricity of the fans just got me curious to check it out on peacock. Didn’t anyone other than the wrestlers who were in wwe in the 00s. Man that got me hooked and I’ve been following since then. Even went to a live show
I stumbled on a random episode of TNA back in the day on my local channel RDS. I got to watch Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Abyss, Ric Flair and the Woo-off etc. Golden times for me! Everything started with TNA basically haha.
Missed the post on Twitter so will give my falling in love with wrestling, falling out of love of it and then falling in low with all over again. I had just moved in to a new place in December 2004 so while doing my laundry sunday evening I channel surfed and stumbled over RAW followed by Smackdown shortly after Survivor Series. It became a part of my end of the week ritual but after a while I was so hooked I watched every episode and PPV the day after they were aired in a very legal way(;P). At some point a few years later it was no longer what it was. I didn't take to CM Punk as you did and was already out when you fell back in love with wrestling. I might have caught a Royal Rumble since that was my favorite type of match for every year. Then, last autum or late summer, I saw that a woman I follow on X had taken her daughter to Smackdown so she could see her favorite LA Knight after having had a rough time at school. LA Knight intrigued me and I watch a video about LA Knight and now I was almost hook. Then I saw he had a title match at Crown Jewel and I stumbled over your video where you pointed out that LA Knight kinda won because there was a three count. I had to watch the match and what happened next. Shortly afterwards I was hook and now I watch the PLEs very legally at least. Even watch NXT pretty frequently (Je'Von Evans will be the one to dethrone Oba Femi). So yeah, fallen in love again at it has been a sweet time so far.
I started watching wrestling in late 2019, and I started with WWE TH-cam videos. I usually watched the Royal Rumbles, they were my favorites, but I also remember loving the Team Authority vs Team Cena match, and something called Monster Mash Battle Royal, which included Kane, Mark Henry, Big Daddy V and Great Khali.
i think seeing a list of your “perfect matches” would be fun. matches can be perfect without being your favorites and i think it would be nice to see your distinction
I saw Dan tdm play a wrestling game, and that made me really want it. This lead to me buying it and eventually watching wwe on TH-cam and binge( wwe network Australia)
Honestly I just got into WWE before Summerslam this year and the things that got me in it was like tiktoks of Jey Uso and the Judgement day implosion, but the PLE itself got me hooked
Also, hearing about Okada vs Omega. I was just like who are these guys and then I couldn’t stop watching their matches over and over again. This really got me back into professional wrestling and it led into my love for NXT black and gold
The very first match i watched was on TH-cam. It was right before Bragging Rights and it was Miz, Sheamus and Ezekiel Jackson against Big Show, Kofi, and Rey. I fell off when they did the draft in 2016. Then in 2020, the 2020 Royal Rumble popped up on TH-cam and I got to see Edge return, I've watched ever since.
I'm going to elaborate on Japanese wrestling and why I enjoy it. Oct. 2019 Jushin Liger announces his retirement for WrestleKingdom 14 in 2020. I think 'He wrestled in WCW with Brian Pillman multiple times and those are classics. And of course I love anime, and Liger is a Go Nagai character, so I watch WK14 and my god it was amazing. Then of course I want more and New Japan World (their version of the WWE Network) and TH-cam lead to thousands of matches.
Edge was my guy in the late 2000’s til his retirement. Stopped not long after the Christian Randy feud, but came back briefly for smackdown live days which I loved tbh. Then i graduated highschool and my tribal chief Roman reigns and that bloodline story sucked my back in and now I love every aspect of it
for me, i had dvd's of a shit ton of matches and old PLEs that i rewatched, every. single. night. there was a bunch of different things but there 4 things i remember specifically. One was CM Punk being champ and having Aj Lee with him, Two was Sin Cara in a handicap match, Three was a match with Bret Hart and someone else i cant exactly remember right now, and then the main one i remember was John Cena vs The Big Show in a steel cage match that had something to do with John Lauranitis. that is what really pushed me into wrestling
mine was honestly seth rollins’s and dean ambrose in 2015 when seth had the wwe title it was just so much fun watching during that time and also when i got into it
I have recently gotten back into WWE. I had started watching around 2014 and fell out when Covid hit. I decided to come back when I saw a commercial for the WM 40 tag team match. I wanted to see the Rock wrestle for real for the first time. I came for the Rock, stayed for the story. I have been 120% all in since then. I know a lot of modern and classic knowledge now
My first time experiencing wrestling was a random Saturday morning. A channel had a tag match with the Undertaker (I don’t remember the rest of the wrestlers in the match). What really got me into wrestling happened years later with WrestleMania 31. Heist of the century, the US championship match, etc. I watched WWE highlights on TH-cam (I was young and didn’t have the means to watch it live) until 2023 where I would watch it live after Sami Zayn’s betrayal of the bloodline.
I know I'm super new to this but WWE 2K23 and Night of Champions 2023 got me into pro wrestling and I've been hooked ever since, especially attached to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins
Following for a while. This was a particularly fun video for me. Keep making videos, I’ll keep watching them. Maybe take a day off now and then tho my man.
My interest was peaked for the first time when The Rock started posting this year about being involved again leading up to Wrestlemania 40 & Wrestlemania was actually the very first WWE event I had ever watched on TV. I didn't have access at the time to watch any Raw or Smackdown shows so I was fresh into WWE but after Wrestlemania I started watching more & learning as much as I could because I was hooked! I'll be going to my first live show in November! I also followed & subscribed to SanchoWest when he was doing more in the Fortnite & gaming scene & still kept up with what he was doing when he moved to more wrestling content so I credit him & The Rock for my new obsession! 😂
As a kid I loved the attitude era but never understood storylines that well. The storytelling in the Bloodline is what made me come back and follow week to week again and now I’m invested in all storylines in WWE.
I have faint, probably made up, memories of watching bits and pieces of some stuff around 99 and 2002, but what I definitely watched and got me hooked was the Eddie Guerrero vs JBL feud in 2004, Eddie and Chris' coronations in WM XX and everything I have ever watched from Rey Mysterio. I fell out of love in WM 30 because I am an Undertaker fan and was done with the product when the streak ended, and only came back at this year WM 40. I never fully went without knowing what was going on, so I knew some stuff about Rock, Cody and Roman, but what solidified my newfound love for WWE was Seth Rollins doing the heavylifting.
i remember being a fan from 2010-2013. i fell out of love just cuz i was entering middle school and i thought i was too cool for wrestling. in 2023 i saw cody rhodes (a mid carder in my eyes) win the royal rumble from a reaction on tik tok (pretty sure it was santi) and was soo confused. so i learned everything about his departure and his indy run. then i fell in love with his story and wwe in general. last night i went to my first ever wrestling event (monday night raw saw jey uso win the ic title) and was one of the best days ever
I remember watching royal rumble 2020 but at this time I wasn’t following wrestling much so I just turned it because it was Royal Rumble and the moment when Edge’s music hit my jaw dropped
For me, I watched Summerslam 2013 at my friends house. Watching the DB vs. Cena match, HHH turning heel, then Orton cashing in was a confusing but entertaining moment as a first time watcher!
I feel in love with wrestling around 2008. I was only 4 years old and my dad was watching me on that fateful Monday when wrestling came on and he loved it. I rember him telling me that I was so intrigued with what was going on. For some reason I can’t remember things that far back but have always known I loved wrestling. I filmed myself doing stuff with friends on the trampoline. Anyways ever since he showed me it was 1 of 2 things we ever bonded over. Now sadly 16 years later we don’t bond over it like we used to and he has pretty much faded away as I start my life as a grown adult
For me it was the pipe bomb. I came into wrestling as an 11 year old thinking it's gonna be a simple two people wrestling each other, then cm punk drops the pipe bomb, opening my mind to all the drama and politics involved in this and then boom i was hooked
I started watching wrestling in 2015. The first match I watched was Daniel Bryan vs Kane in a casket match on a random smackdown. I really liked how smooth it was compared to MMA or boxing. I kept watching it until wrestlemania 31. I didn't understand the concept of PPVs, so I just skipped it, and suddenly, on RAW after WrestleMania 31, Seth Rollins wasn't Mr. Money In The Bank, he had a Championship I've never seen before, cause I was a casual and Brock Lesnar was a part timer. Seth Rollins as WWE Champion, and all of his feuds with Dean Ambrose, John Cena, Sting, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar made me a consistent fan. John Cena's US Open Challenge also kept me watching RAW every week. The Lucha Dragons and Neville were my favorites because of their unique high flying at the time. I started watching NXT by august tho, and Finn Balor was Champion. It was a whole different mood, which made me take a while to get used to. But NXT and AJ Styles debuting in 2016 made me a crazy wrestling fan, which I still am to this day. Sorry for the big text guys 😂😂😂
I watched WWE casually on and off since 2004 but Jeff Hardy winning the WWE title in 2008 is what hooked me into watching full time. When Punk left WWE I stopped watching for about 2 years but then got back into watching casually with AJ Styles debut in 2016 and have been a fan since.
To be honest I fell in love again, because of your Tiktok videos, which brought me back to wrestling after becoming a father and just not having the time back then. So thank you for that ❤
Wow. Definitely feeling old. I was five years old, it was Summerslam 1994 and the first match I ever saw was Bret vs. Owen in the steel cage and being completely oblivious to anything wrestling at the time, I was absolutely thrilled when Bret got attacked after the match, as I'd really wanted Owen to win. 😅
My first episode of Smackdown was John Cena debut. First Raw was I think Mr America lie detector test. Then slowly faded away 08/09,came back but not all the way 11/13, faded back after. Then now back full time, but not AEW in 17 when a coworker said WWE was coming to LA for a PPV. Back then didn't have money for PPV let alone a live event. In 14 finally got money for PPVs well in the form of the WWE Network. And went to NBA games. The peak was getting 4 tickets for 4 days for WM 39. Was tired on Monday 😅
I'm a Gen Xer, so my first experience with pro wrestling was Hogan, Macho Man, Andre, Hart Foundation, etc. In my early adulthood it was the Attitude Era, so. Wrestling and I have parted ways many times through out my life, but we always seem to come back together.
My family like wrestling already when I was born in 97, used to watch wwf as a toddler even went to summerslam 2000 in person with my family as a just over 3 year old. Apparently my favorite wrestler at that age was Chris Jericho according to my mom but I don’t have super vivid memory of things when I was that young so I can’t pinpoint something that got me interested in wrestling, but I can remember vividly the storyline that got me hooked when I was 5 years old Kurt angle was doing the open challenges on smackdown and I enjoyed the angle segments on their own but little did I know one of those people who challenged him would go on to portray a white rapper character who I just loved being a young white kid who’s favorite music was rap music. John cena as the doctor and his us title run was what got me truly hooked on wwe and he stayed my favorite until I stopped watching wrestling in like 2008
For me, the thing that got me hooked was the Undertaker and Kane feud from '98. I was 10 years old and Wrestlemania 14 was my first real pay per view. There was just something about those two characters and the lore of their story that got me hooked. In terms of a feud or matches that made me fall in love even more with wrestling. The one that stands out in my mind is Foley vs Triple H from 1999/2000. Their match at the Royal Rumble and their sequel at No Way Out made me fall even more in love with it than I already was. There's been other things since then, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and the early days of both TNA and AEW are examples of these things. But I'll leave it there as I could keep on waffling.
The DX vs Spirit Squad in like 2006 got me. My brother and I loved it. I remember thinking “how lucky. I start watching right now, and THIS is happening!?” Didn’t understand feuds are manufactured 😂
My first exposure to wrestling is through channel surfing too, and also knowing that Batista was a part Filipino 🇵🇭 made me interested to tune in and see how my fellow countryman would fare (and boy was he GOOD). And it was also the time in mid-late 2000s where it was the peak of Super Cena, and Peak Undertaker Undefeated Streak eras so they’re basically my top 3 lol. In terms of my favorite match, it’ll still be HHH vs Taker HIAC match at Mania 28. My fandom would’ve died in the mid-late 2010s (for obvious reasons: STALE AND BORING) if it wasn’t for NXT Black and Gold, it made me keep on tuning in and more since it was the best thing in Wrestling at that time. And this recent era could be the most hyped I was in the WWE ever.
I fell in love with wrestling back in 1998. It was the DDP/Raven rivalry in WCW, and then the nWo Wolfpack formation. Eventually I would switch over to WWF and stay there. I fell out of love in 2002 after the Invasion... it wasn't cool to be into wrestling anymore. I didn't fall back into love with wrestling until earlier this year with The Rock coming back. I wanted to get my son into it, and he likes it. I hope to take my son to a show soon.
i will say as a kid it was john cena, growing up in the PG era in all, but man the bloodline storyline more specifically the 4 month adventure with sami zayn is some of the greatest wrestling work i have ever seen
I started watching wrestling in 2013 (when I was 9) soon after the shield debuted. I absolutely fell in love with the shield and everything they did, especially Dean Ambrose. I was even watching when Seth Rollins turned on them. That moment, my reaction to it, will always be engrained in my memory forever
yeah, randy orton vs triple h that ended at wrestlemania 25 is what got me into it as well. i stopped watching entirely after undertaker lost his streak then started watching religiously again after i seen wrestlemania 40. Randy Orton is and has been my favorite superstar. Iyo Sky is probably my favorite woman wrestler.
Mines was seeing undertaker walk down the ramp on a vhs tape from around 1995(my dad recorded everything wrestling). Didnt put 2&2 together to realize i was watching taker present day in 2003 really thought it was 2 different people stayed fan through tough times then the bloodline got me really back into it
wrestlemania 21 as a whole made me fall in love with wrestling the creation of 4 of my favorite wrestlers into the main event solidified my stay in this world that i am still in till this day
My wrestling experience is quite similar. I started watching in 2002 with Triple H and Shawn Michaels and I watched till 2008 when I gave it up for being repetitive. Tho I didn't come back till start of this year when I started getting articles in my FB feed and it looked interesting again.
I fell in love with wrestling twice. The first time was during 09 woth the Triple H vs Orton feud going into wrestlemania. That scene of him breaking into orton's house is still the most badass thing i have ever watched in wwe. Then the night cm punk cut the pipebomb it made me fall in love with wwe all over again. It's no surprise both triple h and punk are my favorite wrestlers ever.
Similar to Santi, i started watching wrestling in 08 and the shawn/taker fued made me fall in love. but i fell out of love maybe around 2017 and recently fell back in love with it during the tribal chief era. i even ended up going to wrestlemania 40 night 1 and having the best day of my life
I have to say what brought me back was the road to WrestleMania 40 with Cody Rhodes and the Bloodline, I've stopped watching WWE for 7 years and this storyline is easily one of the greatest stories I've ever seen. And now we have our big two babyfaces Cody and Roman in light of Hogan and Savage, Rock and Stone Cold, Cena and Batista etc.
For me it was the Wrestlemania 40 night 2 main event I was over at my uncle’s house so he put it on because nothing was on and it was a lot of fun I remember he said someone would come out to help out Cody when Solo interfered and I jokingly said Cena would come out and he did and seeing everyone else come out was so fun but I’d say I didn’t become a “real” fan until I saw my first episode of Raw on June 17th then on I’ve seen every single episode of Raw and Smackdown
I'm an old head who started watching when I was about 4 in the early 80's. It's hard to remember the territory days because I was so young. But even then, I was kind of a heel section fan. I remember Jake The Snake Roberts being one of the first people who really caught my attention. It was a very strange attraction, because his promo style would legitimately scare the 💩 out of me as a 4 year old boy!!! But there was also a big part of me who thought he was REALLY COOL!!!
Mine was a random raw in 2004, a battle royal to determine who faced triple h later in the show for the whc. Benoit and Edge hit the floor at the same time, and they both got added to the world title match where benoit submitted edge as edge pinned him. I was HOOKED. It eventually led to the Elimination chamber for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship, my favorite match ever.
I remember seeing Matt hardy doing his flying maneuvers a couple matches then i saw him against RVD which he lost. Rob Van Dam got me into wrestling, i had always seen wrestling here and there for 20 minutes. But it was a passing thing like watching a movie randomly while flipping channels. I remember watching his matches on youtube and everyone he went against he was just kicking their ass. Everyone was getting dominated by RVD. Then i saw him against Chris benoit and RVD was just playing defensive in the match. He wasnt doing his acrobatics he was avoiding making aggressive moves. Then i saw chris benoit pull a crossface i think and i was hooked. I watched his matches and i just loved the threat of a cross face, a quick mistake and he can pull you into a cross face and win. This just helped define wrestling as one of my favorite things. I just binge watched wrestling smackdown mostly, loved eddie too.
Mine was back in 2009. A 5 year old me sat down during a random Friday night while my older brother was watching smackdown. So I started watching it on my own and little ole me fell in love with watching Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. My love for professional wrestling and WWE as a whole came from my older brother and it just stuck
My first moment of falling in love with wrestling was when the shield ran WWE but my second go around was the bloodline idk what it was about both of these things but they just captivated me
Since Def Rebel seem to be leaving the WWE soon, I think you should rank every Def Rebel theme
I think he did that already but idk when
All F except for a couple of them.
Tbh Roman Reigns, the way he tells the story of the Bloodline really made me interested
Same here
The entire Eddie Guerrero motivation for Rey Mysterio storyline. The ultimate underdog with so much emotion. Instantly hooked.
Damn unc
Jeff Hardy and the Undertaker’s runs from 2007-2010 had me hooked every week. Armageddon 2008 was the first PPV my parents let me buy and the energy of Jeff winning his first title made me a weekly watcher.
same man Armageddon 2008 was an amazing night for me. Royal rumble 2023 was when I started watching weekly again
Welcome to the family!
For me it was CM Punk vs The Miz vs Alberto del Rio, TLC 2011, it was the first ever wrestling match I saw and was instantly in love with Punk, been a fan ever since
Ilja vs Walter will always be a yearly rewatch, wrestling, slaps and MEATTTT.
That match was fire 🔥🔥🔥
Undertaker and Edge are the two that got me into wrestling. Never forget that feud in 08. Good times. 😂. Ironically, they're also my one and two all-time favorites
Edge was my biggest heel so having him sent to hell put a big smile on my face
Wow same bro
We're the same 😂
Dude same here!
I gotta rewatch that feud. I remember watching it but i don't remember anything about it lol
Mine was the entire bloodline story. I was getting into wrestling and this just helped define wrestling as one of my favorite things.
Same

I would agree if I hadn’t literally been born watching WWE. Like literally a day after I was born my dad turned on the TV and made me watch WWE
My dad was always a wwe fan but I didn't fw it, I watched a few clips of the bloodline and said damn, Roman has aura, got in, and funny enough my favorite wrestlers are Seth and Orton with Roman at a close 3rd
Damn you're lucky because you started watching in the Triple H era and one of the best storylines of all time although you also then know how bad Vince McMahon is 😂😅
Bray wyatt. Everytime. The fiend, and from there I branched out into the other horror based gimmics, from wyatt and others, and it grew from there
Triple H vs Randy Orton’s fued in 09 is what got me into wrestling , i was 7 at the time, my pops and i would watch the raw re runs every saturday on telemundo , i remember watching Triple H break into Orton’s house and i thought it was the realest thing ever, lmaoo, was hooked ever since 👍🏼
2009 was a good year for wrestling. Bald Orton was the biggest meance that year. 😂
Whenever he rkod Steph and kissed her. Bros a menace 😂😂
It blew my mind at the time to see a guy Jeff's size fighting Big Show
Me too but I watch wrestling because Randy Orton 08
Crazy how ones worst year ever as a wrestling fan (2010-11) was my childhood nostalgia 😭😭😭
Big Dog Roman Reigns was my childhood nostalgia 💀 I started watching wrestling multiple years before but big dog Roman is most of my memories 😂
My first ple was hell in a cell 2012 then I directly watched survivor series 2012 and become regular viewer of WWE since then
My dad watched WWE/WWF and had Undertaker as his fav wrestler and in 2021 ko vs reigns at the royal rumble made me a fan.
I started watching in 2009 or so and stopped around 2017 and started again during the 2023 road to Wrestlemania and I've kept watching it since. I love it.
In 2012, my dad introduced me and got me into WWE. He started watching WWFas it was then in 1998 and still watches today.
Underrated mania for sure
For me it’s you Santi !
I stopped watching during dog food storyline with roman reigns but in 2022 I randomly found your video in my feed and i followed you to watch video every week to catch up but now I have become a hardcore fan of wrestling again, now I watch wrestling live every week .
Thankyou Santi !!
I became a fan when I saw Kane set MVP on fire in 2006 lol
MVP has been very underrated in my opinion.
@@nagatubimaru definitely, he wouldve rocked the wwe spinner belt better than Cena
@@tmac731 🙏
John Cena and Edge’s 2006 feud got me into it. I remember Cena attacking him in the hotel and throwing him in the Long Island Sound 😂
Cena vs Punk, Raw 2013.
Even went to a live show
I mentioned it on the post, while I was a fan well before MJFs “Rolls Of Quarters” promo that is the promo that I relate to the most.
Great video. Day 76 of asking for comparisons of the current main roster to veterans/retired/HOF Wrestlers I.e. Dom and Eddie, Sami and Hulk
The first episode of raw I ever watched was the debut of the nexus and I was hooked ever since
Edge was my guy in the late 2000’s til his retirement.
Always watched it as a kid but the rock is why I loved it his Billy gun/Vegas promo are my 2 favorites
2002 was the year I was born and when I was five days old I watch SmackDown and slimes!
For me, I watched Summerslam 2013 at my friends house. Watching the DB vs. Cena match, HHH turning heel, then Orton cashing in was a confusing but entertaining moment as a first time watcher!
18:00 Same for me but with Queen Zelina.
Sorry for the big text guys 😂😂😂
literally the same with me i started a little earlier and i never got to watch nxt because i didnt know about it but that era was something special fr
@@jjay5355 fr bro, it was amazing
I watched WWE casually on and off since 2004 but Jeff Hardy winning the WWE title in 2008 is what hooked me into watching full time. When Punk left WWE I stopped watching for about 2 years but then got back into watching casually with AJ Styles debut in 2016 and have been a fan since.
I've been a wrestling fan since 1976
Are you immortal
When Santi said he fell out of wrestling when he went to high school it resonated with me so much !!!
To be honest I fell in love again, because of your Tiktok videos, which brought me back to wrestling after becoming a father and just not having the time back then. So thank you for that ❤
Am I the only one who enjoys the hotel room setting over his casual recording setup?
you ain't alone buddy
With you brother.
8:12 “Or with me for that matter, hah” 😃🙂🥲
I'm a Gen Xer, so my first experience with pro wrestling was Hogan, Macho Man, Andre, Hart Foundation, etc. In my early adulthood it was the Attitude Era, so. Wrestling and I have parted ways many times through out my life, but we always seem to come back together.
I started watching wrestling with TNA in 2006 didn’t find out about the wwe till like 3rd grade from a friend in 2008 been obsessed ever since
My family like wrestling already when I was born in 97, used to watch wwf as a toddler even went to summerslam 2000 in person with my family as a just over 3 year old.
Fairly new to WWE and wrestling as a whole, but night two of WM39 got me hooked
Mine was Mick Foleys promo as Mankind as he pulled his hair out
I was introduced into pro wrestling by my uncles in 98. Stone Cold vs The Undertaker at SummerSlam. They were also the first wrestling figures I got
i will say as a kid it was john cena, growing up in the PG era in all, but man the bloodline storyline more specifically the 4 month adventure with sami zayn is some of the greatest wrestling work i have ever seen
YO JEY USO DID IT I'M SO UPSET HE'S NOT HERE TO WATCH THIS LIVE
yeah, randy orton vs triple h that ended at wrestlemania 25 is what got me into it as well. i stopped watching entirely after undertaker lost his streak then started watching religiously again after i seen wrestlemania 40.
It eventually led to the Elimination chamber for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship, my favorite match ever.
chop chop go and upload wrestling boy
For me, it was Daniel Bryan and The Yes Movement that got me into wrestling. First PPV that I saw was Money in the Bank 2014
My first moment of falling in love with wrestling was when the shield ran WWE but my second go around was the bloodline idk what it was about both of these things but they just captivated me
