I don't get it when Dan makes "jokes" about regretting their game or the BRITs not calling them back again next year. is he only just joking because he's always sarcastic? or is there really some underlying embarrassment he feels about doing these funny things at serious award shows? Cause if so then Dan, you shouldn't. You and Phil are amazing presenters that are unique and bring a childlike innocence and joy to these award shows. Don't be so hard on yourself.
Well, I think he might feel sightly awkward doing all this even though they enjoy it because, like you said, they are unique and different. It's not something normal presenters would do but that's why we love it so much!!

Basically he says these things in a sacrcastic tone which he does in most of his videos. He isn't ashamed but he likes to show that he is. For humorous purposes :D
***** I understand where you're coming from. But I dont think they lack confidence, they just have a different sense of humour (mainly based on sarcasm) which other celebrities aren't used to. Dan and Phil simply find it fun to make fun of themselves/have a unique way of making others laugh (which not everyone gets straightaway).
he only says that bc he's sarcastic, but it annoys me sometimes bc to me they should end up in a high note as it's been great the hole video, but then he says that and i'm like "no dan you were great shut up"

I'm proud of them too! It's crazy to look back at their videos back in 2009 and seeing them now. I bet all of this is unimaginable to them. It's good too that they're so humble about it and they've remained the same after all these years. That's one of the things I really appreciate about them!

Can I just say I LOVE their interview skills, they aren't just doing the same old stuff and it really makes me laugh so much every single time!
I also feel like I get to see a genuine impression of the interviewees because they are often taken by surprise :)
