Accuracy update: Since I originally set this watch, it is running 3 seconds fast. That's it. In over a month. Pretty incredible, and I'm hoping this level of accuracy continues. I am impressed.
I honestly think the Quartz versions are much better value for money, plus the dials look beautiful. I think if someone is starting out collecting watches they should go quartz and get another decent affordable auto (if they want one) such as a Seiko 5kx (I like the black camo) which can be bought here in the UK for £200-250, the PRX with discounts £265, which together is still cheaper than the auto PRX at £565. That's what I did, I was actually considering getting the auto variant but paying double for virtually the same aesthetic just wasn't worth it IMO. Maybe if the PRX Quartz was £350-£400 I'd be more drawn to the PMatic 80 side but the considerable price discrepancy and dial choice made the decision very easy for me. £265 for a cool swiss made watch... you can't beat it! If you love watches you'll have some Quartz, you'll have some autos, you'll have some Casio's but... you'll never have a Hublot 🤣👌I say let the PRX be your tick in the Quartz section of your collection
Cant disagree with anything you said, and the quartz movement actually kind of fits with the retro design the PRX is based on. And it's (so far at least), extremely accurate!
@@yugimanne7161 The price has went up now to £320 unfortunately, quite annoying actually. They used to be £295 but £265 with a 10% sign up discount so now that would be £288 if my mental maths is correct 😂
I think I might get one of these next year. Waiting to see if they release an automatic version and see what that looks like but leaning towards quartz just for the price point and grab and go factor. I think the size is perfect, definitely not a woman’s watch…it will fit better on many wrist than the 40mm regardless of gender
I tried both sizes on and compared them and definitely felt the 35mm was a better size for me, particularly because my primary purpose for it is to use as something I wear to the office. If someone is going to wear this more as an everyday "sports watch", then I can see the 40mm being a good option. All comes down to personal preference and use case.
Good news, you don't need to wait anymore, I they've released this in PM80 version. German youtuber just posted their review about it, and coming to market starting from Europe then the rest of the world.
Thanks, much appreciated! I'm still really enjoying this watch, super comfortable and incredibly light. And agreed - the smaller size is a nice change of pace. Also, the case design and integrated bracelet really does give it a feel of a watch that's larger than 35mm, but still compact on the wrist.
hello, I bought the 40 mm automatic version of this watch when it first came out, the one with a blue dial and I have never seen such a beautiful dial in my life. The power Matic 80 version is coming for mm and I'm flying with happiness, I will buy the blue dial automatic as soon as it comes out, love my friend
I bought the 35mm in the same colour a few months ago, also with a 20% discount. It's proven to be remarkably accurate, gaining only 0.6 seconds in the 45 days since the time change.
Just got this 3 says ago. The bracelet is so comfortable that sometimes I forgot I am wearing a watch. The slightly misaligned second hand is unfortunate but I can live with it. Overall a beautiful piece and I recommend anyone below 7in wrist who wants a great deal to get the 35mm.
I thought the 35mm would be the right fit for me but i was surprised that the 40mm fit me much better. It goes to show that you should always try them on before buying them. Unfortunately, the store didnt have this dial so i went with the dark blue one. I thought it was gonna be electric blue based on the videos but the dial colors are so subtle and classy in person. They’re really good. They tend to change colors based on the lighting conditions which really surprised. Its so good!
I'll be your watch buddy, from Australia. Bought the same Tissot as you did about one and a half months ago. Have not stopped wearing it. I did have to remove one link to get a firmer fit though. I do need to put it in rotation with my other watches though. Kind regards Rikki Dee
Hi Rikki, greetings from Canada! Glad to hear you're loving yours as well. I ended up taking one link out too, and now it's a perfect fit. It really is a great little watch 👍🏻👍🏻
Just passed my 1 month wearing this on most days. I took a chance and took this watch to: 1. The beach, swimming pool, riding motorcycle, and 2. Day hike I can say it hold up well. Oddly no visible scratches, easy to clean, no leaking whatsoever even being submerged to 30-60 cm deep for 10-30 seconds at a time. Great deal of a watch
Wow, you really put it through the paces! I hadn't thought of wearing this watch in those situations, lol. But if you look at the specs there's no reason not to. So good for you!
Did you compare this with the silver dial one? Can't decide between the too. This one looks great in some videos but can look almost lilac/purple. The Silver dial looks nice, but not a fan of the guilt hands... And the blue tone on the 40mm would prolly be my pick but the blue on the 35mm looks almost neon blue. Oh what to do.
Ha, all great questions. I compared the one I bought, with the light blue dial, to the silver and gold tone, the green dial, and the fully gold dial and bracelet. I don't think they had the 35mm blue, from what I recall. I was tempted by the silver dial with gold accents, but that one did come across a bit too feminine for me. Part of me is still thinking about the gold on gold version. It's over the top but it looked amazing. I love the one I chose, though. It almost never looks purple or lilac. It mainly looks like a blue grey, or silvery. It does depend on the light, which I really like. I was looking for a light coloured dial to balance my collection, and I also love blue. So this hit all the right notes.
I’ve been obsessed with this watch for a couple weeks now. Im in between this one, the navy and the green face. Does it come with a device to remove the links?
Super comfortable, amazingly accurate, and looks incredible. Better than it does in photos or video. No tool is provided for the bracelet though, so if you don't have one get your jeweller to size it for you.
@@froesei yeah 100%. The photos online don’t do it justice at all. From what I’ve seen in videos of people wearing it. Thank you! I’m just debating which colour face to get
Yes, tried on the 40 as well. It wouldn't be too big, it would work, but it's a totally different watch in that size. More sporty and less dressy and I wanted something for the office. The chrono is pretty sweet though. Tried that on as well.
Yes, maybe! Have you tried on the 35mm? Because of its design I actually think it sort of wears like a standard 37.5. Or at least it feels larger than a normal 35 might.
After two months, it's now running 6 seconds fast. I think that's enough of a sample size to say this watch is keeping pretty good time, haha.😆
I want to sell my Tissot prx blue

Love the color of the dial. Also smaller watches are extremely underrated imo.
I completely agree, and have been gravitating towards smaller watches lately. Good to have a nice balance of both larger and smaller pieces.

Wrist size? I have 16.8cm, so 6,6 inch. Don’t want it to be too small, but I think 40mm will be too big.
What size is your wrist? Is a 7 inch wrist too big for this watch?
Great review. I just wanted to know whether it will be a good fit for 6 inch wrist ?
