to be fair casamir is basically a jafar expy (ya know the comically and obviously evil royal advisor who plans and almost or in this case actually succeeds in assassinating the ruler and grab power and you saw how easy jafar took over agrabah even before he became a genie
But Jafar had personality, he had clearly been there for a long time, and there was FAR more time spent building up his backstabbing and showing the lengths he was willing to go to get his goals. Casay had 4 chapters before he, 1 kills someone he was telling everyone he was going to protect, 2 throws a rising start under the bus, 3 tries to take the throne, and 4 tries to claim credit for all the work everyone else did to end the rebel's fight. Jafar succeeded in taking the throne and did so in the right way so that only one person could have stopped him. One mistake came back to bite him, Mister Fabricname, on the other hand, has so many errors under his belt, and no story telling us how he safeguarded those mistakes, that it's a wonder he wasn't killed off by other people before the MC gets to him near the end of the game.
to let you know zelos troops go into your reserves when hes "taken" so they are not useless. and yes it is a major plot hole in the game about you turning bad. the only thing can be said he was loved by the people and they turned a blind eye. look at today and say that could not happen. just a side note. 2nd edit. yea you should have done that capture when using the medal and this is the time to be using medals of valor. under 50 LDR they get 3 points of LDR, 50 they get 2, 60 they get 1 and cant be used on anyone 70 or more LDR. you should pop these like candy right now.
That's a fair point on the medals. I need my groups to have as much LDR as they can right now given what I'm trying to do. And yeah, I'm still a little upset at that plot hole.
You only need reasonable doubt, the empress was in the hands of rebels, he only had to claim the empress was dead at arrival, convince the soldiers that were there when she was alive to said what he wants them to, and blaim those who couldn't be bought over, in ancient times is less about the truth and more about how much political influence you have, with enough influence you can push your own narrative forwar (even if it's a nonsensical and unreasonable one).
That's very fair and true. I just wish the game did a little more to show that happening if they were going to show all these other things of the war, it feels weird to leave out some of the things that would show the dude winning over the soldiers, the people, and all that he needed instead of just going "just trust us it happened". Again, you are right. In times where information was hard to get from anything other than word of mouth you'd only need a few to speak good on your side to start the wave of positive influence, but I feel they told too much, or too little, of how this guy got into where he was when it also seemed that everyone didn't fully trust him in the first place.
@@fadepanther6224 I'm no writer or anything but I would put the focus of this game on the combat, the story is told to make sense of the missions, the storytelling in this game is not good enough to care that deep on the story, SOW is a great game, very fun, but I would care more if the way the story is portrayed was like Chained Echoes, it has slightly more polished graphics in game than SOW, can only hope SOW 2 is an upgrade.
@@CarlosEstebanLopezJaramillo Very fair. I don't fancy myself a good story writer but I'll fully agree that the gameplay of SOW is the best selling point of it. I've heard mixed things about Chained Echoes, if not I'd be playing that too on this channel. To finish my thoughts, I do think the story should have been more focused on the best part of the game, the gameplay. Like, each mission telling its story as things are happening. It... might have turned out worse but it, at least, would be its own take on the story crafting instead of feeling like it is trying to copy the beats of a book or other game. However! That's just my opinion and I will say that this is still a great game to play. If it wasn't I wouldn't be playing it again.
and so you are reunited with your favorite character and the power of refrigerators are yours once more
Yup!!
