When I was a gun dealer and I’d speak to Henry about something they were the nicest people ever. Great firearms and great customer service make a successful combination in my book. 👍
See I would miss the wood handguard. The traditional look is part of the charm.
I just wanted the factory model to have one MLok slot at the end of the handguard (light) and one little strip of rail on the receiver for a red dot. Done.
Handguard looks great, MI is doing great work. Has Henry addressed the reliability issues yet?
Nice job a gutsy move would have been glock as standard with henry mag being the adapter.
Nice handguard, Caleb Savant.
Been waiting for one of these
Thanks, good information .
This does look good. Just wondering if the gap at the last three slots will be an issue for what ever might find it’s way in there. Also if MI will make a replacement stock to give it that full tactical look.
The stock video launches Friday!
Tell Midwest Industries to get to work on a handguard/rail for the Beretta 1301!
They will sell!
It is always good to have options but this carbine is just rite from the factory. Buy any other 9mm pcc if you want more modern stuff. Putting this hand guard on is like putting a red dot on to an 1873 SSA. If you have two of these and put this hand guard on one of them leaving the other one stock, rock on.
why though?
I hope you have fewer issues with your Homesteader than Honest Outlaw. He has more than one video review on his sample unit.
What is the recoil system for the HH? Are any recoil components in the stock?
No precision ground bit? I thought that is what is best to use?
Caleb needs to display and talk about a LaRue Rifle..
You don't want to hear my opinion on LaRue, I would hurt a lot of feelings.
hahahahahahah I hear ya !!!!! Cheers from the Woods of Maine Semper FI @@CalebSavant
To each his own, and no disrespect to those who like this, but with the hand guard addition it looks like a tabletop home-gunsmith'd Frankengun!🤢
I understand the concept, but the Homesteader looks much better with the factory wood furniture.
How will you replace the front strap mount
The sling mount? The best option is to install one into the MLok.
Omg a homesteader that has a charging handle!!!
2:46 I see what you did there
Kinda looks goofy with the massive gap between muzzle and hand guard
I just dont like rails on EVERY, SINGLE, GUN IN THE WORLD. Yeah, it gives a spot for a light on a dedicated home defence gun. So does a Weaver scope base, screwed to the solid part of the forend. Yay. I'll go back to the Crumudiean's corner now... 😊
Um….why?
By some people's standards, you just turned that into an _assault weapon_
WHY ? 🤦♂🤣
I don’t know I will just leave the wood on if I want something tactical get maybe the Ruger
