Made in America, Or Not Made At All.
Very Very Very well thought through. Nice work Henry. Simple take down. Swap charging sides and multi magazine capability. So smart. So tuned in. 👍👍👍👍👍
Regarding the Glock adaptor: You may need to pull the bolt back a smidge to seat the adaptor. At least I had to. Such a fine gun, like all the Hanks.
Picked mine up today, put 250 rounds thru it with no issues. Ordered the other mag wells and muzzle break thru Henry. Love it..
Love mine
"Compariable with Glock, S&W, and Sig mags." Now you got my attention. Well done Henry.
I just posted an update regarding my issues with the Sig/S&W mag well using my P320 mags. Long story short, get the Glock mag well. I had lots of jams with the Sig mag well. Replaced it with the Glock mag well and it runs flawlessly.
Great rifle and fun to shoot. I really need a Lever Action Supreme to go with it ! When Henry?? Great video. Thanks to your team for putting this together.
Henry - please come out with a new age 9mm lever action carbine, in classic Henry style! That thing could have a wicked short throw, I bet not much more than the 30ish degree pull on the Browning BL-22 lever action. I'd buy one the second it was for sale!!
I've been waiting for the Marlin Camp Rifle to return. Is this the rifle I've been waiting for?
Should be more durable, hopefully.
I love my homesteader!
Thanks for choosing Henry! We hope you enjoy that Homesteader for many years to come.
Yes it is a personal protection and small game carbine. 10 MM chambering could bring it up to short range hog and deer sized game but the 357 and 44 mag lever actions cover that ground even better.
Nice
Woa. I always just pull the bolt out by lifting the action bars slightly. It never occurred to me to take the forend off for routine cleaning.
it never occurred to me to lift the action bars...
Talk about precision machining 😊 henry rules😊
I would love to add this to my other Henry firearms but you need to make a
Non-threaded option for those of us living in tyrannical states! PLEASE!
Very cool BUT , I want Henry to make a Pump action Mares leg in 22lr .. I just seen the AWA`s Lighting bolt ! Henry could /would be the first to make it their own !! Please Henry step up ..💥💥💥💥
How soon will we see the surpreme’s rifles hit the market? 350 legend and 450 bushmaster?
It definitely would make for a handy little carb to have around. However, when I handled one last year, I was half-tempted to pull down the rear end of the foregrip and try to pump it up. ;-)
My H001 feels of much higher craftsmanship despite being at the bottom of the Henry food chain.
Post update regarding my issues and solution with the Homesteader: The Homesteader is a jam-o-matic with the Sig mag well. Don't waste your time with it. After 4 trips to the range, it was having FTF and bolt not locking open on last rd. issues far too frequently. Even if you don't own a Glock and want to get this firearm, get some Glock mags. They're affordable, the Magpul Glock mags even more so. So I got the Glock mag well to see if that'd make a difference as it occurs to me nearly every video review of this firearm, which are mostly positive, is with the Glock mag well. I traded one of my other Sig handguns (SP2022) and got a G47 which has much more accessory and capacity options. It's an upgrade I've been wanting to do for a while and the issues with my Homesteader just accelerated that decision to make a trade. I took my Homesteader and G47 to the range today, put about 300 or so rds through it and it worked flawlessly with both the Glock factory mags and the Magpul Glock mags.
Henrys are nice but I wish they'd use a lighter stain on the wood so we could see the grains better.
Love the Homesteader! hear me out, 218 Bee )size rounds). Yes I know it is an "obsolete" cartridge, but it is a fun little round to shoot. At least make a modern lever action for the "obsolete" rounds.
why dont you make it in 22arc or else?
Sam Elliott said that?
44mag, 357mag
Great job Henry! I got one when it first came out!! Wonderful as usual with Henry!! Beware when changing the loader well adaptors. The tiny little spring clips can pop out and ping somewhere in your space!! Good luck finding them!! I got lucky and found mine!! Make a Pump action Mares leg in 22lr!! Or even better .38!! Thanks Henry!!
10MM HOMESTEADER
Yes! 🎉
10mm would be a deer thumper!!
OK Henry, you caught my attention.
One of my favorite guns I’ve ever bought
Well that’s cool
No support for CZ mags is a dealbreaker for me just on principle. I'd be more interested in a 22 WMR revolver or 22 WMR semi-auto. The only reason I even own a Henry was because I wanted a matching 22 WMR lever action and 22 WMR revolver. It would seem that Henry has gotten sidetracked from what they promised their customers. I've been waiting and waiting for the 22 WMR revolver that Henry said would be available in 2024. I won't waste anymore money on Henry.
Are you open to CZ-75 adapter aftermarket? Or you're just hating?
@@zaitcev0 yes, I would be interested. I have several CZ pistols. I don't undesirable why a CZ variant was not included. CZ makes magazines that fit their full range of pistols and the CZ far surpasses the volume in sales and quality of some of the other manufacturers that the Henry has adaptors for. It makes no sense for CZ not to be included.
@@jamesrevell6475 We sell SIG P320, Beretta 92, SIG P365, and CZ-75 adapters for Ruger PC Carbine. Of them B92 is the most popular, and CZ-75 is the least popular. We sell about 10 B adapters to 1 C. CZ-75 is popular internationally, but not domestically.
@@jamesrevell6475 We sell CZ-75 adapters for certain other guns, among other types such as SIG P320 and Beretta 92. They are extremely poor sellers, close to 30 adapters of other types for 1 CZ-75. Note even B92 only sells about 3% when compared to Glock. 1/30 of 3% is 0.01%. That is about how much sense if would make for Henry. P.S. I wish to moderate this with a note that this is in the domestic market. Our overseas interest from countries such as Canada, Sweden, and France is exclusively CZ-75. So if Henry were looking for extra couple of percents among the international sales, CZ-75 would be a contender.
One of the best accessories for the Homesteader is that muzzle brake. Group size shrinks noticeably. Two big thumbs up for that brake.
Love my Henry Lever Action Guns..... But this 9mm rifle has issues. It is jamming up on every serious TH-camr channel. I think that "the issue" is primarily on the extended compatible Mags. (Glock, S&W, and Sig); I'm not sure yet. BUT Henry you need to admit and address the issue. Sure, you will eventually "engineer" your way out of the problem; That's exactly what world class companies do. But first you need to admit that there is a problem. Until then: I'll wait.
The only "serious TH-camr" who had issues with jamming was Honest Outlaw. There's nothing to admit, he was either doing it on purpose, or he got a lemon. Either way, my Homesteader is extremely reliable. Keep waiting.
If you have never shot one yourself how can you criticize?
