Ricks handsome good looks always took my breath away when I saw him in person just to see them blue eyes oh how I loved to look in to them gorgeous eyes wow.
Rock on Rick! This version features the great Dennis Larden (Denny Sarokin), Jay De Witt White, the late Tom Brumley on steel and the late and great Richie Haywood on drums. Rick had it all but I feel was never totally appreciated. Elvis, Roy Orbison and Ricky Nelson were the best in the business and wouldnt want to live on the difference of their greatness. RIP Rick, Elvis and Roy.
TH-cam has different videos of Rick and his band especially on late Saturday night shows in the 70s. I believe he got more appreciated with She belongs to me and Easy to be free (biggest hits) Look up Gypsy Pilot
@jesmelric do you have any of the Bear Family boxes? They're very pricey, but the most recent one contains a full 1974 concert from Rick and the band. Well worth getting if you can afford it.
Rick Nelson, simply a true treasure as a musician and more importantly, as a person.
My Uncle, Richie Hayward playing the drums.
It's really great!
So awesome. Great history

the more i learn about you ricky the more i understand what a great loss you are.
Ricky?
The last time come around , I love that’s song of Ricky Nelson 👍
I don't think I know that song, is it on his first album?
I think this version surpasses the studio track - just so much more energy in the playing here. Rick wrote some great songs in the 70's!
That’s my favorite era for his music. I love the 50s stuff but when he started writing it was so good!
@@taeylorbrooks8074 he had a lot more to offer than most people realize.
So glad you enjoyed, I do have more I will be posting.
This is one of the most rock ass solid tunes I’ve ever heard.
