these colourways are pretty clean too, new balance have had some good-looking boots over the years but atm all of the lineup is nice, jay you should do a whole podcast about new balances through the years considering they are still pretty new in the boot market on nerds

I have tried the Furon v7, Puma Future Z v1.1, and Nike Mercurial v15. The Furon are by far the best for me.
The tekelas are some of the most easy and most comfy boots of the year by far.
Reminds me of the Puma boot V6.01 from back in 2007, with the off centred laces and sharp front. Have to give these boots a go.
I bought the furon around Christmas… comfort is good and I love the feel… lockdown is good also but the problem (for me) is in the heel. I always get blisters on my back heel but with the furon it’s just too much. After 45 minutes my heels start to bleed and hurt like hell… I always wear grip socks, put some blister balm and some bandaid and nothing help so I ended up buying new boots… which I’m sad about because I was really exited about the furon. So if you’re someone who often have blisters problems, keep in mind that it’s pretty bad for blisters
I got that with my nike boots at first so I doubled up socks and for the rest of season had no issues maybe this might help :)
I’m the exact same bro the furons gave me massive blisters on my heel when I wore them do u have any tips to fix that. My touch on the ball also felt a bit heavy which worsened my ball control but I probably just have to get used to them. Really annoying considering the price they are.

For me, I’m a defender. Which means I don’t really need a speed boot but just a lockdown, comfortable boot. That’s why I like the Tekela more.

Does the AG version feel significantly different under foot? I LOVE the FG furons but I play on turf and, pushing 40, don't want to risk a knee injury. I'd love to be able to play in the AG version but I can't find them in the US

I wear the new balance 442 v2 pro silver with kangaroo leather, the furon and tekela look decent.

How big is the difference between the pros and the destroyers?
I really need them lol. I just got blisters from my Adidas because I have wide feet and they are meant for narrow feet. I just couldn’t find any wide feet boots when I got my current ones. Thanks Uni!
Buy shoe stretcher mate ! It helps widen the boots lot e specially when u gat dem wide feet .

Is the Tekela v4 considered as a speed boot ?
Not really, but it's light enough so I guess it's technically a speed boot.
Way too Comfy to be a speed boot. Doesn't have that super lock-in experience that speed boots usually have. Not that the lockdown is bad it has the best lockdown for a laceless boot I've ever worn.

What were you expecting? At least they're significantly cheaper that some Adidas and Nike models.
NB also offers the 442, which is kinda like a Tiempo, but at almost half the price (130 USD).

Just feel like NB needs to get better at aesthetics, I like the launch/special edition all black colorways and the Sterling ones but the others are pretty underwhelming or just look bad in my opinion

True the size, I use always vapors or superfly 44 . and I bought this 44 also. It feels amazing and really tight, I think it will brake little after couple sessions and will be best shoes I ever had.

I got wider feet too and i got PUMA ONE and it’s just amazing and comfortable but they don’t release the new one anymore sadly. Adidas Predator 19.1 also my favourite but im sure the new one are just as fine
