First time ever hearing this wonderful track performed in an orchestra. They truly did justice to The Lost World and to John Williams. This should be performed more often. 100/10
To me, the best part of the Indy Jones soundtrack begins at 6:27. :) I've always thought of it as a romantic part depicting Indy and Marian's love, and it's like a contrast to all the lively, active parts. :D
Well the title did just say Lost World. And I'm sure there have been many movies that wanted to use the name Lost World. So he was just Clarifying that it was Jurassic Park and not some other movie.
john william a fait plein de music de film, c'est un pionnier de la musique un maestro et y'en a pas deux comme lui et quand j'écoute cette musique j'en pleure c'est mieux en orchestre!
I really liked The Lost World. There was PLENTY to like about it. Its not as good as the first one, but it should still be appreciated. Its no where as bad as JPIII. Even the music from that film sucked. For one thing it was composed by John Williams but by Don Davis whose best known songs were from The Matrix. He just couldnt live up to John Williams. Makes me wish they hired Bill Brown. He did the soundtrack to Trespasser. It sounded AMAZING! Almost as good as Williams.
these guys are actually into playing their music. Watch John Williams himself conducting the Boston Pops - a more miserable and bored lot of musicians it would be hard to imagine.
The Lost World score is underrated. Best trek music.

Great job! The whole ensemble had a very good, mature sound and played confidently. Loved it.
Most excellent. One of Williams' best and definitely his most underrated themes, in my opinion.
The Lost World, say what you will about the movie as a whole, did have an awesome score...
Holy crap right from the beginning I knew this was guna be awesome, they really delivered, hats off to you guys!!!
My fav movie soundtrack and movie of all time.
No one is dreaming. It says quite clearly that the conductor is Yoichi Sugiyama. John Williams is credited as the composer.
Excellent!! Great Job to all!
John Williams is just THE BEST !
che figata...bellissimo!
Nice performance. This is the beginning of the credits.......Oh the memories.
Excelente Orquesta, Excelente Sinfonia, Saludos desde Colombia

Taking me bac to middle school competition and came in 1st place with this song and the classic Clash And Roar.

Raiders theme ... ahh the beloved 80s, I want them back! Now!
Love this theme
He lives!
@Jetli390 the timpani drums wasnt highlighted much thats probably why. they actually sounded like a marching band.
Muy lindooooo!! Preciosooo!!
Yes.
It contain's the Raider's March too, cool.

@absurdious no its not its played in the same style as iniana jones but if you look closly their sheet music says the lost world
This reminds of '60s and '70s Lost World kind of movies
but the lost world is from the 90s
Jr ruiz
There is an old Lost World movie too
Koichi Sugiyama is. He did some music for Dragon Quest, then scored "Godzilla VS Biollante"
It contains The Raider's March too, sweet.
are u kidding!? his action cues are the best!
tremenda orquesta sinfonica
The Lost World is my favorite Jurassic theme. It's sounds badass and I could listen to it all day, every day. 😎
Yes it was :)
But I still enjoyed the clip. Thanks!
MAY I SAY THIS A MASTERPIECE ( SNORT)
2024 👏👏👏👏👏👏🌎🕊️🤗❤️🌈☮️🙏✨🙌✨ beautiful wordl peace in love harmony thanks 😊
our band couldn't play this cause every 3 measures it changed times to either 4/4 3/4 5/8 or 7/8 and we kept getting lost
Its not the room its the video quality.
molto benes!

@Laceykat66 That conductor is not John Williams o.o Its just the creator of the song for bands to play -.-'
funny you say that, this is pretty much exactly the tempo the actual movie soundtrack is at
4:13 start to indiana Jone scense
Anyone else notice the guy with a hat in the back of the first violins?
8:10 Nostalgia
not good enough. OG JP made me cry
at 0:29 is that Jeremy Renner on the Bass Trombone??!
Though my favorite movie is Jurassic Park, and I really love Batman, I'd have to say my favorite movie protaganist is Indiana Jones
You're all cool!

This is from jurassic park: the lost world
Really? Did you figure that out all by yourself?
Lol
Well the title did just say Lost World. And I'm sure there have been many movies that wanted to use the name Lost World. So he was just Clarifying that it was Jurassic Park and not some other movie.
Syariman Yazi
Title should be Raiders instead of Raider's.
s musica eso si es musica
DId they used it too in Jurassic Park "The Lost World"??
This is what happens when John Williams gets a budget cut >.
The movie is brilliant, thou
Where was The Map Dawn Room? That´s the best track on Raiders.
@lvanhorn2 yes it is, you prolly havent listened to the whole thing before posting lol
both of these musics were in "Jurassic World".
john william a fait plein de music de film, c'est un pionnier de la musique un maestro et y'en a pas deux comme lui et quand j'écoute cette musique j'en pleure c'est mieux en orchestre!
@SomeBoredGuy94 Yay band! I miss band and m euphonium....
Ah okey, okey, ya vi todo el video jajaja :D
Boy, John Williams looks different without his beard.
It's not conduct by John Williams :(
que esto no es del Mundo Perdido?
The recording is so dry. I don't think that it does this orchestra ANY Justice at all! And it was performed FANTASTICALLY!
@polmanking91 Its Jurassic Park ...not indiana jones, there is a mistake in youre ear. Read the top rated comment
My favorite part starts at 4:14!
nice on the timpani. (:
Trumpets!!! :D
Could be a recording problem.
4:58 Dr Jones with Violin!!!!
There is no apostrophe in "Raiders" you know.
Good thing you pointed that out. Else the Universe may have collapse in on itself

this is actually the theme to the 2nt jurrasic park movie, (The Lost World,) still awsome tho!
8:15 Harry Potter on brass!
The room is too dry. But they do the best they can with what they have.
what's this instrument?? 0:17
I didn't know Sarah Palin played French horn
Supergirl is amazing.
The Lost World : Jurassic Park II for who don't know it :)
Luckily we don't have to keep dreaming: there's at least one video on TH-cam where John Williams is conducting an orchestra.
The horns need wok..esp the French horns..and in "The Lost World" The percussion needed toning down a bit.
+Lieutenant Weed Good point. Thanks for sharing!
The bassoons looks like theyre chewing on their reeds :D
Lol i play trumpet, and i need the lyrics for this song!
thats jurassic park 2, isnt it?!
@absurdious sorry its both
these guys are actually into playing their music. Watch John Williams himself conducting the Boston Pops - a more miserable and bored lot of musicians it would be hard to imagine.
There's like no reverb in that hall at all...
did anyone notice a oboe
yes, next to the flutes :)
The sound is rather dry
bad recording!!!
notice the lack of microphones, be reasonable, I'm sure it was a lot better if you were there live, be thankful for the effort FFS
