Great result your lovely Proton Impian brakes are fixed and your father is an engineer absolutely brilliant and his persistence paid of and he didn't go down the path of throwing parts at your Proton lmpian and it will be the best Proton Impian in the country
“How much brake fluid do you think you’ve got through? “Well I’ve gone and bought shares” 😂😂😂 Great job dad! It’s been a head scratcher getting there but I still can’t get over it was a £300 car!
Congrats on getting it sorted. The brake bleed process on an early 2000s Merc with Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC) is also good fun, if Pete wants another challenge?
I had something similar on a mk1 VW Golf. Brake pedal was good at start, but after driving 2 miles, brakes locked on. Turns out previous owner had fitted a new master cylinder and not adjusted the push rod and clevis pin. Once we backed the rod off, perfect brakes.
Glad you enjoyed it! (PS - working on some software to try and make the subtitles a bit clearer and better as i know TH-cam struggles with Dad sometimes!)
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Hooray! Its fixed 😁 - thanks for all your suggestions and patience with this one
“Don’t ask stupid questions just for content”…. wise words indeed….

The Proton Impian reminds me of the late 1980's Nissan booted Sunny. Great work "dad" you did it it again.

Thanks Mike - certainly was a 'winning purchase' - which i needed this year after quite a big loss on a few last year!
Congrats on getting it sorted.

Plenty more to do on the Impian to get it to our standards and then ... lots and lots of stuff on the rest of the fleet!

Would really like to see your dad mucking about with some motorbikes!
We absolutely will do that in the Spring ☺️👍
15:29 - is that a reference to the Renault-engine Waja 1.8 I heard? The F4P engine it used was off a Laguna 😆
Well done! Certainly is! ☺️👍
I remember Humberside police had a fleet of Impian panda cars. Used to see loads in Scunny
They certainly did! All LPG converted too
@@JonCoupland Here in Nottinghamshire i think we had Ford Focus estates and MK4 Astra's. We have Skoda Octavia's now.
Peugeot round here now
Doctors discovered a man that was drinking a litre of brake fluid everyday, he denied being addicted, claiming he could 'stop' whenever he liked! 😂
Brilliant!
from a malaysian proton forum - Waja brake feel is a bit spongy. No idea why is that so.
Yeah maybe so 🥹

No idea what you are talking about
Bikes ! Yes Please !!!!!!!!!!!!
In the spring ☺️👍
A brake hose that sucks itself on? It would be funnier the other way round. It would probably make for a hard brake pedal too
Ha great one!
vive l'agriculture in english means long live the farmers
I'm ok with that then 😀👍 we need our farmers
@@JonCoupland oui oui! have you changed all the brake fluid for new?
Absolutely
All of the old brake fluid will be totally gone by now so that has finally flushed and exercised everything now…..
Yes absolutely :)
