@ji8044 Not to mention dude had like, what, 6 or 7 different starting QBs throughout his tenure, most of whom sucked on top of playing behind a garbage tier O-line?
The Saleh Jets improved over his first two years. Rodgers was the piece that was supposed to put them over the top but he was down for the season quickly so Saleh got a mulligan.
Joe Douglas gets praised for winning 4 or 5 games a year even though he has failed to address the QB position for half a decade lmao. The Jets are still being the Jets but it's a problem all the way up, not just HC
Idk why this is a shock, Saleh’s record was awful before Rodgers got there, and the defense this year isn’t as good as it was last year, and after his comments about Rodgers needing to change his cadence because it’s to hard and making the offensive players false start just showed that he doesn’t hold his players accountable for their mistakes and explains why the whole team gets so many penalties. If they’re smart they go after Bill Belichek this offseason if they wanna go defensive minded or go fro Ben Johnson from the Lions if they want to go for offensive minded coach
People still buy the media hype on saleh and they hate Rodgers for not getting the jab and speaking the truth on celebrities like Kimmel. They’re useful idiots
To fire a HC at this point in the season shows the problem is not the head coach problem is the disorganized organization and may be a good time to sell the franchise to more competent owners .

No they don't. As soon as it came out that he didn't take the Vax, they turned on him like hyenas. Strange to me, because that seemed far away from the athletic side of their jobs as athletic journalists. Why would they care so much? Never much liked Rodgers as a Lions fan, but I always gave him credit for his press conferences. Compared to Stafford, who never said a single interesting thing, Rodgers tried to answer reporters' questions honestly and seriously. He didn't give the same old, "we're just having fun out there," and "we just rely on the coaches to put us in the best position to win." Not that we have to worry about Aaron Rodgers, whatever happens, he'll be fine.
Rodgers absolutely engineered this one, at the very least he gave the green light to ownership and meanwhile Hackett will stay and continue to make no progress on the offense. Not even Davante Adams can save them
Hackett letting rodgers do whatever he wanted is the problem not hackett, they shouldn’t be passing the ball 50+ times a game especially when they have breece hall
There was a moment during the game when, after a bad Jets play, the camera panned on Saleh who just sort of shook his head. Not a good look for a head coach.

Saleh is a great Defensive Coordinator and great person. Just being HC of the NY Jets is a tough proposition with the Johnson Family owners. He didn’t draft Zach , Mekhi or let the OL be a stacked with guys no one wanted.
Saleh got himself fired. 20-36 record and Jets leading the league in penalties for his entire tenure as HC will do that. The 2-3 start in a playoff or bust year also doesn't help.
Strong Russell Wilson vibe here. Veteran QB with a glittering past with one team makes the move, disappoints and the HC is fired. The only thing that could make this more Jets-ish would be if Adams signs with NY and AR8 goes out for the season (again) in the very next game
Let me get this right. QB throws 3 INTs last game, one being a pick six. One being in the red zone. They lost by 6. To an undefeated football team. And they fired their HC - who had no input in QBs since becoming HC, didn’t have any input in who Rodgers surrounded himself with. Doesn’t call offensive plays (Hackett has been absolutely horrible, but he can’t fire Hackett due to closeness to Rodgers). And they fire their HC. What a complete joke of an organization. Rodgers legacy needs to be talked about.

Not sure about the rookie wall one though
Let's also add the Chargers are gonna Charger. Those guys are experts over there as well lol
You explained this so well, thank you!
It was probably a blessing for coach Selah. Wishing him the best. Nobody likes to be fired but hopefully learning will take place.
Learning, jets? Lol this was either the first NFL game you have ever seen or you're not real.
The owner should had fired Hackett. Hackett was fired as the OC in Jacksonville and was fired as the Head Coach of the Broncos. His offense was awful with Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers…the common theme is Hackett. Hackett is a nice guy, but as a coach he wants the players to like him vs having them respect him.
They already fired the OC. Hackett is No. 2. Saleh needed to go
@@richardprescott5939Jets fan
Hackett can only be fired by Rodgers, the guy who brought him there so go figure - Rodgers ist also the guy who fired Saleh
Did Hackett toss 3 picks and playing like 💩 in all but 1 game?
Sounds like Miami's coach.
This is NO surprise. Most of us knew he'd be fired but we figured it would be after Monday nights loss. How Rich is shocked is a true head scratcher.
I mean considering he literally just spoke with the team, he has more insight into the vibe of the team than us.
Aaron Rodgers strikes again!
By helping his team!
How he helping the team. Wasnt Aaron Rodgers who threw the interception?? What you talking about? Is my main question with you
Thank you for the great content!
Fantastic video, really appreciate your effort!
Saleh didn't throw 3 picks. The nuts are running the asylum.
Saleh should have already been fired, he is a horrible head coach
20-36 The Vikings game must have been the only Jets game that you watched in four years....
The Jets need something more than a new coach.
bigger bre ast ed cheerleaders?
look what it did for the cowboys franchise...........
A new owner
In Saleh's 3+ seasons, he was 20-36 with a roster that's often described as having a lot of talent.
2021: 4-13 (last place)
2022: 7-10 (last place)
2023: 7-10 (3rd place)
2024: 2-3
What took so long to fire him?
It only has a lot of talent on defense of course.
The offensive line couldn't start for Alabama.
@ji8044 Not to mention dude had like, what, 6 or 7 different starting QBs throughout his tenure, most of whom sucked on top of playing behind a garbage tier O-line?
QBs were an issue…..
Welcome to the AR ride as a GB fan
Johnson is an awful person and a worse owner. Jets deserve it.
Adams to Ravens would be lights, Bills would interesting as well
This makes absolutely no sense no matter how you look at it
Why?
His team is never ready to play. Penalties and slow starts every game.
Have you watched the Jets attempt to play football the last 3.5 years?
Thank you for this video, very enlightening!
This was very informative, appreciate it.
Boy the Vikings just demoralizing teams to where they first made fans question Daniel Jones his talent for the NFL and now Jets coach get fired. damn.
daniel jones is trash and shouldnt even be in the league, hes just a eli clone without the superbowls. mouth breathing trash
vikings were one play away from losing to the jets.
Rich bro, i just watched you talk about how both Saleh and Rodgers were besties yesterday, i gotta question your ability to read the room lol
Yep - Rich is in the hot seat
I suspect Saleh was as stunned as Rich.
No, if you have to endure Aaron Rogers, especially as his boss, then you know when Rogers is stabbing you in the back.
I just heard security had to be called to escort him out?.. He’s a big guy, I get it, but dayam?!..
@@jacobjones5269 Who was escorted out?
@@annerector8765the man who was fired, presumably
@@jacobjones5269that happens with every coach in the league who gets fired
Thanks for sharing this, learned a lot.
Half Of This Is Aaron Rodgers Fault, Everyone Jumped On Russell Wilson Getting Hackett Fired....THIS IS AARON'S FAULT 😂😂😂
They’re useful idiots
no HC is winning with those QBs. not even Bill Belichick could overcome back QB play
a HC attending offensive meeting for first time ever is all you need to fired him.
Shanahan never touched the defense when Saleh and Ryans were DCs. he left it all to them.
Robert is the one who made that Defense, and it's top 5 , A-Rod is the old issue
Why do you think Greenbay let him walk? 🧀🧀
Because they are cheap
@@jtfike Because he tried to get GM Brian Gunkunst fired
Exactly. They thought that they could do better with him
To fire a HC at this point in the season shows the problem is not the head coach problem is the disorganized organization and may be a good time to sell the franchise to more competent owners .
And that, kids, is why you always say no to copium. It prevents you from realizing that your team is a dumpster fire … and, then, they’ll dash your heart in a thousand tiny shards.
Nope. I've been on this train for 40 years and this is just another Tuesday.
This video was amazing, learned a lot.
Media protects Rodgers like they do Lebron to get access.
He didn't give the same old, "we're just having fun out there," and "we just rely on the coaches to put us in the best position to win."
Not that we have to worry about Aaron Rodgers, whatever happens, he'll be fine.
Fantastic explanation, thank you!
Rich is an absolutely professional commentator, couldn’t even tell he was a Jet during that broadcast 🐐
Rich goes to London and now he says he Gobsmacked lol
Why is Rich still in London?
@@annerector8765 he's announcing the Bears vs Jags in London next weekend
He's starting to look like a Brit
There was a moment during the game when, after a bad Jets play, the camera panned on Saleh who just sort of shook his head. Not a good look for a head coach.
he always looks like that. every game since he became coach, there is a point the camera pans on him and the look on his face says 'how the hell did i get here? what am i doing with my life?'
This was exactly what I needed, thanks!
Great tips, thanks for sharing!
Been a fan my entire life and I just can't support this shitshow anymore. Rodgers is the most toxic player in the NFL. I don't care how many games they win with him- he's not worth rooting for. Guess I'll stick with my fantasy team and I'll come back when he's gone
Just jump on another bandwagon got Detroit Washington Bills Philly all kinda close to Jersey you don’t have to quit being a fan just quit being a Jets fan
What in the world makes him toxic? Isn't say anything or do anything other than maybe talk about how crappy our government is. Is that what bothering you? What in the world has he done in his career That's so toxic? He was one of the winningest quarterbacks of all time and dominated his division with a team that didn't have a ton of talent anywhere else besides at the QB position for over a decade and it's a first ballot Hall of famer. Let me guess you support Kamala Harris too? So sad how much the media plays with you guys
@@frozansky So you're in the huddle in the locker room. Media is glad you You people backum wait to the dust clears before you make stupid statements.
@arthurfonzarelli9828 Let you know who owns the media. It's called Shanghai shindy the Chinese Communist party Who owns ESPN just the facts
@@frozansky I'll guarantee you the best is about to come
Rich….. Richard. Richie. You didn’t assume Saleh wasn’t walking on eggshells. He was basically fired the day they started actively recruiting Rodgers to come to New York.
Saleh is a great Defensive Coordinator and great person. Just being HC of the NY Jets is a tough proposition with the Johnson Family owners. He didn’t draft Zach , Mekhi or let the OL be a stacked with guys no one wanted.
Absolutely correct!
Hackett is a big issue. Glad we could help! - Denver Broncos
Absolutely hilarious 😂
Jets will always be the Jets.
How? Didn't they win superbowl 3?
Rodgers and hackett got that man fired.Salah kept them in every game
Saleh got himself fired. 20-36 record and Jets leading the league in penalties for his entire tenure as HC will do that. The 2-3 start in a playoff or bust year also doesn't help.
Saleh was not the problem. Jets are, that entire org is poorly ran.
I can't believe a player has that much control over a team
its aaron freakin rodgers we talkin bout here.......... ZEN MASTER.........
Aaron is the problem. Devante would be crazy to go to the Jets at thus point.
Guys...he wore a Lebanon patch. Why is everyone so confused? See Jets owner.....
That’s Tame.
@@allengreene9954 Ok....he was able to be a crap coach for years and it didn't matter...but the second he wore a patch to show he was against his family members being slaughtered and home country being invaded by psychotic racist colonizers, who the Jets owner supports, then he was fired. Better?
Rodgers had his hand in this. Jets need to face the fact the Rodgers is past his prime and needs to give it up.
Rich is the only Jets fan in the media who's actually looking at this objectively and with clear head. Great take.
I knew this was happening when Rodgers pushed the HUG away
AR isn’t gonna be there next year either.
40 year olds who can’t run, and don’t have a running game behind them and have to pass 50x a game won’t be successful.
Someday soon Saleh will be glad that he is not with the Jets anymore. Just my initial reaction.
I honestly feel like Rodgers had alot to do with this.
