      @kenyattaclay7666 I disagree strongly. Even if you lump them in as "players coachs" they are night and day.
      The lack of accountability and control is why the Jets spiraled so hard at the end.
      Lions under MCDC are entirely built on hard work and accountability. The difference is night and day.
      You can even toss in Rex's tenure at the Bill's as more proof.

      @ lol 🤣 dude, if you close your eyes & listen to their press conferences you wouldn’t know who is who. They are both meatheads, neither is a bad coach but they are meatheads nonetheless. They both make meathead decisions at critical points in the game, they both want to play similar styles & they both have the same overall philosophy on the game. The only difference between the two is that Campbell has better coordinators, that’s it.

      Jets have a great defense. Honestly, if you want, the defense should have kept the guy you had. However, Rex is actually a really good coach. If he had a qb, he would be a great coach. So I don't think this is horrible. I would love to see patriots hire him.

      @@jordankibbee3441 The Jets defense looked overrated to me. And I just don't think pulling a HC out of mothballs after not coaching in the NFL in a decade is the right answer. • @jordankibbee3441
      @jordankibbee3441 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @robertkees6048 I think it's unrealistic to expect jets to be competitive next season. So, getting a culture is important. Rex Ryan, love or hate him, will do that. Also, no offense, but NY is a horrible place to coach the media. It holds back the teams as much as anything. I feel the OC from Lion's is the best option, really not a lot out there unless you want to give a complete unknown a shot that can work great or horrible. Either way, pats and jets are not going anywhere soon.
      Edit: Who would you like jets to go after?

Let's just see the Jets make the playoffs again and then I'll consider getting excited about them. As it stands all they give me is heartache and grief, and they play in F'n NJ! As a die hard JETS fan I never believed in the Arron Rogers will get us to the Superbowl. I never wanted him as our quarterback. As a die hard JETS fan I truly believe Rex will make us a better team. Rex didn't fail the team when he was here. The dumb GM moves is what fail the JETS bringing in Tim Tebow that wasn't Rex that was the dumb owner and GM. A lot of the moves the GM made because of the stupid owner is what fail Rex. Rex would bring the best out of that young talented group of defensive players. That's why Rex wants another crack at the JETS. Rex sees in that team everything he needs to win. Two young running backs young lineman young secondary. He is who I want as my next coach. He had four winning seasons and two losing seasons in his six years with the Jets. The right GM and if the owner just let the people who know football do their job. I truly believe the Jets could win again with Rex

    Rex Ryan does a great job of making sure that everybody is on the same page and putting their best foot forward. You can't just dip your toe in the water, you got to jump in with both feet. Rex has a knack for coaching players who are good foot soldiers, and players who can be nimble with great footwork. He keeps everybody on their toes and makes sure that they are ready to go, because they never know when you are going to be feetured in the game plan. Last time Rex coached, he kind of got off on the wrong foot with a couple of bad defeets, but in the end his players were toeing the line and nothing but good vibes were afoot. Some see Rex Ryan as a bit of a heel, but I think he's a shoe-in to be the next Jets Head Coach. - Wes Welker, but not really

      @@moderndancingfool to be fair, he’s been an ESPN analyst for those 9 years, where he’s been watching every single game to critique it correctly afterwards. At the least, he should understand what works and doesn’t work in today’s game compared to the last time he coached.

    Wait. Didn't the Jets fire Rex Ryan? Usually, when an employer fires an employee, HR checks the "no" box next to the "Rehire" line on the former employee's record. Have the coaching ranks gotten so thin that a team will re-hire a coach that they fired for lack of performance? What logic are Woody and the GM using to convince themselves that it will be different this time?

    As the late, great Bill Walsh once said, “There’s the Buddy Ryan method where you BS your way through it”. Like father, like son. I think the Jets should hire Mike McCarthy. Yes, he had a bad year this year, but he’s a great coach and has won a championship. They need a veteran coach after two first-timers.

    A Rex Ryan reunion is worth considering. Putting past memories of winning Jets teams with two championships aside, Ryan instantly gives the Jets swagger. He’s a coach that unapologetically loves this team and knows what he is getting into with the organization, fan base, and media - AND HE STILL WANTS THE JOB! Ryan is coach that players actually want to play for as opposed to one that players avoid. He has the best chance of instantly changing the culture and creating excitement. That said, he would also need a good offensive coordinator and a GM that can get on the same page and be immune to pressure from the owner and his nitwit son.

Heck, if they're running it back, why stop at Rex Ryan? Rich Kotite and Bill Parcells are still alive and residing in the greater NYC area!

    It feels like the Raiders going for the Jon Gruden era 2.0. And even without being forced to resign, it wasn't on track to live up to the original. I think Rex 2.0 with the Jets would feel like 2011-2014 all over again without the magic of 2009-2010.
