Bee Man Vs Bee Tree

  • ASAP Tree Company called me out to assist them with their tree removal project. They had already removed two other water oaks & the 3rd one had a decent sized beehive in it.
This was a good group of guys to work with & for the most part things went as planned.
The idea was for the tree company to lower the limb the bees were in to the ground & get it out of the way so they could remove the rest of the tree.
I would do my part after that which involved using a chainsaw & pry bar to open the limb & access, then remove the honey bee colony & transfer them into my domestic set up.
Later on you'll see me feeding the colony "fondant" at their new, temporary location.
If you enjoy my content, please consider subscribing to my channel for past & future videos.
    Thanks for watching!

I recently watched this guy in the UK move a swarm of bees into a new beehive box by using a ramp and having the box at the top of the ramp. He demonstrated that bees instinctively always walk uphill. Now he used a towel as the ramp. He knocked off the swam off a bush into a cardboard box. Once back home he setup the towel and dumped the bees onto the ramp towel. The bees then just marched right up that ramp towel and right into their new beehive. He didn't see the queen but after a while he knew she was in the new beehive by the way some bees were fanning their wings at the entrance. It was a wonderful video just like this one. 😄

I learned to stitch up a person when I was eight when I went to work with my dad. He refused to wear chaps and he payed for it. When you use the tip of your bar as much as you do and cut in odd positions just invest in a pair. A lot of us would feel terrible to see you get hurt.

Too many people today take things and others for granted. When I watch you and see that you are doing it all by yourself I’m always thinking about how your video recording is so different then a lot of the channels, it’s not like you can say okay bees take 2 I didn’t get a good shot of that! Lol! Or maybe you do? Are you the bee whisperer too? Hahaha. I love that you refer to them as your ladies. Bees play such an important role in our lives. Keep up the great content I’ll be watching. 🥰🙏🏻🇨🇦

Awesome colony of bees JP. I have a colony in my dead, 😥, 150+ yr old white oak tree here on the farm. A friend topped it out and hasn't made it back to take it down. The branch broke off a knot hole entrance and I can see the comb inside. Its driving me crazy and my husband wont let me climb up to investigate!!! Lol sure wish you were closer to NC, lol

Boy you got it easy. The tree guys around here usually call after they've already dropped the tree on the ground and bees are everywhere.

That FedEx driver drove by like “Hell no I’m outta here”. I’m sure the driver saw what was going on. “No deliveries today on this street. Safety hazard”

I am deathly allergic to bees, wasps, and hornets. I’ve nearly died from stings. I love watching this but also know I am in awe of what you do. Gives me the chills just thinking about getting stung. I carry my epi-pen EVERYWHERE
