    I notice how JP never gets an "angry hive" I think it has a lot to do with his demeanor. So steady and never rushes.

      Joshua Burnett, he won’t want to try that here in Brazil, these bees don’t care how your demeanor is they want to kill you and all of them come at you it seems. If there’s a bad spot in your suit they find it

      Monty Rackley that’s why we now have Africanized bees here in parts of the US, invasive species from Brazil.

    I love how JP just embraced a new beekeeper and welcomed her help and taught her so kindly! What a lovely man, his love for this hobby is infectious! I'm never going to allow a bee to be within 20 feet of me if I have any say about it (I'm allergic) but sometimes I'm jealous that I can only watch through a screen.

      Kevin Webster the difference is that up is rescuing regular tame honey bees, the killer bee guy is working with Africanized hybrid bees that r a danger to the public so he has to protect the public from them, them will attack over several city blocks, hence killing them, not sure igo along with himtransplanting hives into the desert as it is not stopping the killer bee problem

    I think this is one of your best rescues yet. Among many other cool things, Julie the ornithologist got to learn about a new "bird", Kat the new beekeeper got to cut her teeth with your help, you got to eat crow with your "I don't think this hive is very big" statement :D, and a bee got the last word in (check the last 5 seconds). Really enjoy your videos JP. Thanks.

      @@JPthebeeman I can ask you a question, but how is it possible that the bees don't come on you to get stung !!? Because but as I approach not even so close I immediately sting and I'm all ashamed, and I do not do anything I do not provoke, how do you do it !?

    • @JPthebeeman

      @@JPthebeeman Do you say my body temperature or the temperature of the time !? I don't know, I don't know about bees, but I only know that every time I pass near the hives in my uncle's boxes, they always bite me, next time I go at night with a can of gas, I burn them all, never did them. of evil and they are always all over me, anyway I am Italian I live in Rome Italy

    • @JPthebeeman

      Mauro Melis honey bees being insects prefer warm temperatures. If it’s not temperature related it could be their genetics that are having an influence. Some races of bees are more aggressive than others.

    Great video, JP. Love your stuff. So calming. Most of your clients are so jumpy around the bees; it was nice to have another animal lover watch your rescue. Her walking right up next to you to help made me smile. :) You're quite the educator, and I could tell that your client, as an educator herself, appreciated that learning experience.

There was one that i liked like ur is how they remove them to different location n back, feed them, put new Queens in the no Queen ones n when they want to swarm they know when to put them into bees swarm fabric nets. So cool like urs! Then I saw a video that a man removal bees bt same time killing the bees when hes put the colonies in the bees removal frame box. Thanks for sharing!

    • @JPthebeeman
      @JPthebeeman  7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Jerome Humery a lot of it I chalk up to media hype but human nature seems to dictate if it can bite or sting it might be dangerous.
      A lot of folks hate snakes, believe any dead snake is a good snake, this is so very far from the truth.
      Many folks refer to bees, wasps, yellow jackets, as simply bees but as we know honey bees are quite different & can only sting one time.
      This is why I enjoy pulling in the general public when I can to educate them with the realization that honey bees are not pests but very interesting, highly social & beneficial insects.
