Inside a hazer phaser.

  • This is a weird thing. I'm not fully sure of its original intended use, but it's one of many products that has had a new pandemic related purpose invented for it.
    In this case it's being presented as a disinfecting fogger, although its use of a heated atomiser might compromise its suitability for that.
    The listing also suggests it can be used to spray paint, but it really can't. It would clog up instantly if you tried to do that.
    The build quality isn't bad, and the unusual heater block and pump assembly are worth the price alone for their component value.
    My comment about the unit resembling some theatre haze machines is due to some of the glycerol hazers having a heated atomisation path that can be opened and cleaned. It's unusual to see such a complicated and serviceable atomiser block in a cheap product like this.
    If you enjoy these videos you can help support the channel with a dollar for coffee, cookies and random gadgets for disassembly at:-
    www.bigclive.co...
    This also keeps the channel independent of TH-cam's advertising algorithms allowing it to be a bit more dangerous and naughty.

    I've always loved my non-heater hazers (mineral oil) for my lighting effects! The haze stays in the air for hours and creates amazing beams. Took one apart once and found a very impressively made venturi nozzle assembly that it relied on. Interesting stuff!

    Maybe the references to paint are a translation that missed the point. I think it just means you can use the machine to clean/disinfect surfaces that are painted, like walls. It's saying you can use it to spray painted things, not that it sprays (applies) paint.

    Steaming hail in a salon possibly...
    Steaming clothes while on a trip is another use for it...It's compact enough to easily fit in your suitcase...
    It could also be used as a Steam Cleaner/Disinfectant for countertops, sinks, appliances etc. that is easier to use than the traditional Steam Cleaners/mops (less bulky)...
    Note: you don't really need to put anything other than water in this to sterilize. Water heated to the point it becomes steam will kill most viruses, bacteria and parasites in a second or two after exposure so just slowly sweep the nozzle across the surface to be sterilized (at a distance of 2-4 inches between nozzle and surface) and you should be good to go...

    This looks like it would be the perfect Sci-Fi weapon in a school play, especially if you can get the battery powered one or hide the cord enough. If you boosted the light of the LEDs it would look like a blue cone ray, you could even use it as a UFO abduction beam! the potential is endless!!!
    SHOW EVERYONE HOW TO FIX THE LEDS TO MAKE THEM BRIGHTER SO TEACHERS CAN FIX THEM AND USE THEM IN PLAYS!!

    Would you recommend it for it as a hazer (like with haze fluid)?

    • @BigClive
      @BigClive  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could be used to haze the air for effect. But only with glycol based haze or fog fluid.

    It's not for spraying paint. What the website said (from what I can tell) is it's safe to use around paint. i.e it won't damage your house's paint if you use it indoors.

    • @melaniefrontage9254

      I would say that it is safe to use on any surface as it does precisely eff all.

      Maybe they mean it can be used for stripping paint with the hot steam.

  • @ericrichardson3332
    @ericrichardson3332 ปีที่แล้ว

    We used to use a much bigger non portable steamer unit for steaming wrinkles out of clothes. Wonder if that hand-held gun looking steamer would work well for steaming clothes, although it would be better with a flat surface where the steam comes out

    Would definitely be useful for those of us in the laser and optics community. The laser hobby is a lot of fun but sometimes it’s really important to see the actual beam path of laser (especially if it’s capable of burning your skin… And an invisible wavelength)! Sure beats the hell out of a Vape

    • @BigClive

      A small disco fog machine might be better for that as it's harder to knock over.

    Could this be used to spray biological samples? As in, if someone doesn't change the water, are they just spraying legionaries disease?
    I'm aware it heats the solution when it is in a very exposes small particle form.
    But only for a very short duration.

    • @BigClive
      @BigClive  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it could still class as pasteurisation. Glycol fog fluid seems to be inherently very sterile.
