Colorado Alpine Loop: Engineer Pass // Family Adventure in aTacoma on America's Most Scenic Road

We are loading up the Toyota Tacoma and mustering our courage to conquer Engineer Pass on the Alpine Loop. We leave from the ghost town of Animas Forks, and finish in Lake City, Colorado. Along the way we see waterfalls, shelf roads, mountain peaks, a moose, and much more!

What Campsites are there to use while doing the alpine loop?

We camped at Williams Creek campground by Lake San Cristobal outside of Lake City. There are several camping areas, some charge per tent, others charge per site. The water spigot wasn't working when we were there, which was an issue. They do have nice bathrooms though.
