When you take the petals off a Columbine they look like fairy shoes. 🧚🏼♀️🧚🏻♂️. When I was little we used to pick them and bite the little knobs off the end as they were full of sweet nectar.......probably lots of tiny wee bugs too🤢 but we lived. Lol When mines, manufacturing and other businesses leave the little towns touristry is the only way they can survive. Nice they did it well. The purple and pink barrel was so, so pretty, someone has a great eye for colour. 🥰. Happy Birthday, hope the van is fixed and you have your home back. 🙋🏼 You can get back braces, that I wear when I have to do something I know I’ll suffer for later. Even a chest high Spanks will support and stop those muscles from constantly spasming trying to keep you steady. Take care.

I was up in well actually down in Silverton years ago when my son was younger and we camped for Thanksgiving down there well in Durango but when we went to Silverton everything was closed because it was winter time but I took my son sledding between Durango and Silverton and he absolutely loved it.

If you're still there, drive up the mountain road next to the Silverton park and you can take short (< 5 mile) hikes to the tops of mountains... the scenery is amazing up there and the hikes are easy. There's also a forest road on the other side of Silverton that is easy for hiking up that mountain (Kendall).
@@lallred1911 , Also recommend hiking up Ophir Pass and Black Bear 4WD roads. I start hiking very early in the morning to avoid ATV's, don't like to breath ATV dust. Ice Lake is also a great hike.
Lovely yellow flower, which Barb named the Common Tansy. We don't have those here in Arkansas, so glad she knew there name. Wonderful fern like leaves they have. Common in name only, I'm sure! 😊

There is a red winged bug that eats tansy but it can make a cow very sick
