That was the case in the MMORPG, Star Wars The Old Republic due to the developers needing each class two have 2 archtypes. Knight got guardian and sentinel, while Consular got Sage and Shadow. Shadows would actually fall under the Sentinel branch of the Jedi Order.
@@Oxygen_Breather These materials also differ in timeline where Consulars could act as Shadows 3000 years before the Movie era (prequels and OT) while movie era classifies Shadows as a form of Sentinel. So you are correct from a certain point of view.
The Jedi shadow is the coolest sentinel class occupation, in my opinion.
We must remember, the brightest light casts the darkest shadow.

@@SiowsHolocron Oh. Wookieepedia says that some consulars were used as shadows during the Great Galactic War.
@@Oxygen_Breather Yep, that's due to SWTOR but I still personally adhere to Shadows being a form of Sentinel rather than a form of Consular.
