"am i shooting doubles????" shows double exposure - that shit made me laugh!
wusste gar nicht dass der süßgott himself auch auf YT unterwegs ist
Ends up being the coolest picture
Is das jung hörn ?
This video was filmed a little over a month ago before I realized in body stabilization was turned off on my digital…anyway hope u enjoy 😂😂
I loved how the super8 gave the portrait session another element a little glimpse into the personality of the model, I loved the idea of super8 being included during sessions 🤩🎞️📽️
right!! working on a whole super 8 video right now
Babe wake up, Linus is being creative
MY DAWGGG
photos look soooo good. the light leaks are just a part of the imperfections that make film so awesome, they just add more to the style of this particular shoot!
thank you so much!
Great video! Your videos are inspiring me to start learning about shooting in studio.
appreciate ya man!
Your photos are amazing, Linus! And how cool is that mug on the billboard, hey! Absolute fire, the entire episode was a blast. Cheers
thank you so much man!
you've been killing the content recently linus, i even got myself a Canon EOS 1n after the last video lol.
you will not regret it!
Damn those red stairs contrast rly well!!
The graininess of Super 8 makes me think of late 1970's films; set in the present this throws you for a bit of a loop.
right!
Amazing!
thank you!
Beautiful!
appreciate ya!!
Bro nice video! I can feel u with the double exposure :D
haha like how did that happen lmfaooo
Another W, I’m about to be in nyc all summer this is great inspiration 🤝

Loved the photo shoot and especially the Super 8 footage! It just added a lot of charm to the video. So cool!
thank you!!
brilliant as always
appreciate you man!!
“Brand new SD”…
Somewhere between 14 and 34 years old… for a medium format camera, yup - that’s “brand new” 😂
Sick shoot Linus, and damn - what an awesome excuse to go to NYC! “Sorry Mom, can’t come home that week, going to see myself on a billboard in Times Square!”
haha you're right - a brand new SD is still pretty old but still!
Once again a very inspiring video! Great Pictures and a beautiful Super 8 Film 😍
thanks peter!

Good stuff linus
thanks man!!
Great work as always! Love the double exposure shot
thank you!!
I once had that exact same Super 8. I lent it to a coworker for some video stuff at a past job (forgot I lent it) and the memory just hit me. I regret the lapse, but I hope that guy is still doing well cause it was a beast.
Which camera is it?
Linus calls it out at 10:10

Congrats on the billboard! Love the red stairs and the closeup images. How was the dumplings 😊
dumplings were exellent!
they really put the goat on a billboard man that’s INSANE
you already know playa
Linus Going so crazy💙🔥
Fire flicks, makes me miss being a Mamiya RB67 owner. Love the Super 8 video footage, might need to invest in one myself. Also mans went to the legendary dumpling spot
Que resultado perfeito, essas cores são lindas e a composição 😍😍
thank you!!
accidentally shooting doubles has been a large part of my rb67 experience
great video! Love the photos and the super 8 video
thank you so much!!
For the dumplings, you can also go to the East Broadway Mall, it's an old mall where almost all shops closed during the pandemic but there is still a family making chinese food underground, their pork dumplings are awesome and cost $5, you get 5 or 6 fat ones (enough for 2 meals IMHO). I realize only now that you're located in NYC, I was there for about a month to chill and shoot a few models. I should've tried and contact you to grab a drink and talk gear, I love your work.
Another banger 🔥🔥
my dawg
hey, loved the whole vid but the 1:45 type beats comment to the model had me rolling. Great super 8 stuff.
Another great video! 👏
thank you sm!!
Lovely shoot man! Love to see more super 8! ✌️❤️
appreciate you man!!
How confident she is ❤ have you got a drum scanner
The photos are amazing thanks Linus for expiring. What was ur aperture on the close up portrait cuz I own a rb 67 pro and I’m not quite there. Peace
probably like f/56 or f/8
Thanks a lot 🙏🏼
The makes me miss and not miss my rb67
The city looks like a run down apocalypse, which gave the photos a fantastic look.
SOO good!!
thank you1!!
the super 8 omg
Loved this video, I shoot super 8 also and a Mamiya 645 definitely would love to collaborate if your ever in the DMV
Amazing vibes Linus!!
thank you!!
Nice photos and pretty model. Did you hire her in NY or did you bring your own? I have noticed that many medium format photographers do not use camera straps on their cameras. Any reason for that? Aren't you afraid of dropping it?
She's gorgeous 🔥
2:35 he in fact was shooting doubles
LOL
linus is the face of cinestill
Hey Linus! just wanna ask whats the lightmeter app you were using on this video?
my light meter pro!
@@linusandhiscameraWow thank you ❤
Typically, what was your aperture on that kind of images? I have an RZ67 and i sometimes struggle to focus on close ups because the DoF is so thin...
love shooting in super8 but i still prefer shooting in super16. lets collab!
love both of em!
When will you be back in nyc? Let’s link
@@linusandhiscamera man let’s collaborate!
😍😍😍
was every photo 800t?
first 10 were 400D
I have the Bauer C8 Super, very clean and it was given to me for free from the guys at Foto Presto in Munich once they seen my Bolex H16 Reflex. Can't wait to try it out. Great video.
i just recently snatched one of my dream cameras(plaubel makina 67) for quite a good price.. but i noticed that im quite allergic to attention and it definitely attracts all the attention wherever you are.. It‘s probably not as big of a deal as i make it to be.. but photographers aren’t commonly walking around here and i feel uneasy taking the camera with me.. any idea how to overcome this feeling of unease..?
comes with time i feel like
yayyy
Is the super 8 autofocus?
1st rule of photography as taught to me by my father in 1995: The 1st thing you do when you pick up a camera is put the strap around your neck. I still have and still shoot with his Olympus OM-1n. As lovers of film photography we owe it to the art form to take care of these cameras so they continue to work for ourselves and others for years to come.
PLEASE use a camera strap. I know they are annoying and sometimes get in the way but they're your camera's seatbelt.
Now that's out of the way. Photos are super rad. Great video!
Which super 8 camera is that?
