Just came across this which is quite bizarre as I used to live next to Norman and bumped into him 2 days ago having not seen him for many years. Great watch

I am now 72yrs old I was born in Dunston. I moved away when I was 16yo in back in 1966 but I remember my childhood days with affection. I always spent time watching the Tugs sailing up and down the Tyne , as I recall there were two Tug's I always looked out for ,I think they may have been sister Tug's they were a yellowy Mustard colour and seemed to do a lot of work between the main bridges on the Tyne, old age has effected my memory and can't remember their names. I have spent time looking back at Tug's back in the 1960s archives without any luck. I was wondering if you may know someone who could know, your's faithfully Paul S ?

@@buzzbug22 Hi I am so sorry I can’t help you. But Brian Morrison from Whitley Bay may be able to. He does a lot of ships on the Tyne videos, and tugs as well . On TH-cam. Hope he can help you

Hey, Snacker, Norman and Neil. The North Shields boys, still together.
    I miss that life.
