That game made me hurt bad. Just like you guys said, THERE WAS SO MUCH GOOD. but now all we focus on was the bad cause that was a catasrophic collapse.
great stuff as always guys. even if this was a painwatch.

Just wanted to give Nesmith his props. His contributions toward winning basketball are underappreciated. He consistently guards the other teams best offensive player. He sacrifices his body for his team. And he comes up big in clutch situations. He is the glue guy for this team. His contract is not equal to his actual value. Love that he will be with this core for years to come.

Pacers had 2 pt less in the paint. Took 10 less 3's & both team had the same amount of fga-99. The officiating was terrible & expect to get worst. This reminds me of when my Raps played Celtics in the Bubble. Gms 1& 2 were particularly terrible officiating. Tatum lived at the ft line even though he was pushing off & no call. We saw some of that last night & Brown pushing & grabbing Pascal's jersey even on that inbound play.

What I am hearing here is Pacers players don't know what they are doing on defense most of the time & lacks the IQ to react to changes. Also I hear a lot of these defensive errors are tied to Tyrese. For a guy that length & the #1 option he needs to be better. He was hunted so much especially late in the 4Q & OT.

Few things. the celtics certaintly has more talent then the pacers no doubt how ever this game confirmed to me that the pacers is a better team overall especially after showing me that grit they showcased with the knicks. im a boycotting knicks fan but im really digging how the pacers play and how the coach is willing to take chances on young talent really taking advantage of his bench something thibs would not do unless forced too. wether the pacers win or lose this series (I still think the pacers win in 6) i can see myself becoming a fan of this phenominal squad. tj mc connell is turning me into a MAJOR hyprocrite. i detest small pgs or undersize pgs dude is a gladiator. Shout outs to tyrese for playing how I think a pg should play by being unselfish. im one of them dudes who screams for halli to shoot the rock more lol but man I Love his intent on getting others involved and putting his teamates into positions to score easy buckets for the most part. I prefer tyrese over brunson anyday of the week. good job to carlisle for allowing obi to play through mistakes and get comfortable which will serve this great team well down the stretch. I say this team plays the same exact way they did yesterday just limit the turnovers and celtics are toast regardless if kp returns or not. pacers fans 😅 im about to hop on the bandwagon. l know all the talk is about edwards and the wolves but in my opinion the pacers are LIT.

I was surprised that Tyrese outplayed Brunson for the entire series. For this Pacer team Haliburton is the PERFECT fit.
Man I appreciate the optimism and I'm the biggest Pacer optimist/fan on the planet, but I'll be surprised If they come back from this.
This team is extremely difficult to predict and have grown up right before our eyes. Siakam and Tyrese are still figuring out how to play together. Definitely looking better.
If Pacers win this in 6 I'll give you MAD props LOL

30 to ten on free throws and 21 turnovers. If the Pacers control the mistakes and maintain pace, they look really good i this series.
We should be talking third quarter when the Celtics were playing their pace until TJ came in and pushed tempo. If the Pacers starters play like that the Celtics will make it a short series.

I mean, imagine if Boston didn't have Brown and Holiday, just like the Knicks didn't have Randle and OG. That's the huge difference that swung the game, because Indiana didn't have the margin for error they had in the previous series.

The free throw discrepancy is ridiculous, but your best player cant melt down in this situation. Especially considering we are gonna have to beat the Celtics AND the refs.
Ive said it before. Hali has to stop backing up. He backs up constantly. He hunts threes entirely too often. He is becoming very predictable and easier to guard. You best handle pressure by attacking it, at least when youre as skilled as he is.
All he seems to want to do is shoot long threes. When he drives he clearly wants to pass. When he is waterbugging it around the perimeter he clearly wants a 3.
Basically, our best players were messing up while their 2 best players made plays to win.
Also Carlisle was atrocious down the stretch and got thoroughly outcoached by a pretty bad coach. Going small after Nesmith fouled out was a bad move. Not calling the timeout was horrible and not forcing his best player to take the blame after he choked this game away was coddling. He needs to own this.
We had a chance but we needed to win this game and we completely blew it.
