Gets me in my nostalgic, calming type of mood. Really miss the good ole times. Life after Quarantine is hell. My Father died, my pastor one month before him… My father not only dying but, passed away the same day school started.. so I was already stressed with trying to keep up with my work. Fell into a deep depression. Lost my friend a couple months after because they ghosted me. Summer of 2021 was my revival year. I got to work with my family, went camping, made money. After 11th grade started I made some great friends. 2022 happens, I almost die, from an anaphylactic shock. My 11th grade first semester friends grew apart and stopped texting and seeing each other as often. Couple months after my shock, I get SA’d. Summer of 2022 happened, my friends completely abandoned me, I had just the two of them. They left me for dead. I started 12th grade… we started talking again. One of them starts dating, she ghosts me again.. my buddy Nemo was always there for me, he was the one in the trio who actually talked to me, never abandoned me. She changed, she was once my ride or die, now nothing. I’m trying to heal, but it’s hard. Life growing up SUCKS. Father dying when I was 15, grew with agony and caused experiences I would have never dreamt of. I’m trying to move on but I can’t. To finalize this, this song helps me heal, I come back from time to time when I’m feeling the absolute worst. Music helps you heal, I lost it awhile ago but I’m getting back to it as much as I can. Let this be a sign, if you’re struggling.. you are not alone.
I casually clicked this because it’s one of my favorite songs plus I love live performances, and the drummer he announced who is from Lake Geneva Wisconsin literally is where I live too. What a small world.
This song is like Road to Perdition from Thomas Newman, it is a very special song that gets marginal notice. I heard it from the Twilight movies, but it didn't get that big past that. Compared to some of the other songs.
i got mixed feelings on this song because it's one of my favorite songs of all time but i was listening to this when i found out my ex was cheating on me, and she had this song on our joint spotify playlist. lovely song so i just can't stop listening to it :)
I would've cried so hard as soon as he started playing...this song means so much to me it's not even funny
Same for me, means a lot. It helped me during very hard times...
Same yall it helped me when I was in hell I swear I’m so glad I found this video
Why doesn’t he do this song more often?
Anyway, this is straight beautiful. 😭
Maybe because it's slow and emotional it doesn't suit some concerts
Agreed
@@Cameron-Prendergast doesn't that apply to most bon iver songs lmaoo
My guess is Bc it’s partly owned by st Vincent and also maybe something to do with twilight
this song is such an underrated masterpiece
PhyloSofie ikr😭❤️🎶

I now realise I should've skipped paying rent and just traveled there. This is better than not being homeless.
lol

2 Corinthians 12:2-4
Such a pitty he didn't write more songs with St Vincent

1:15 (song starts)
Bon Iver's live performances always slay the original versions, and this is definitely no exception.
One of my most favorite songs

What a good indie song
I can't believe he made a Wayne's World reference 😂😂😂
What did the guy scream at the begining?
Anyone else thinks that B-part is a nod to Grizzly Bear's "On A Neck, On A Spit"? Sounds quite similar.
+mschmidler 100% on the Grizzly Bear Comment!! I had the same thought when I heard it!!
😭😭😭❤️
I would say that this song is so profound that beside suicidal thoughts and death, nothing else appears in my mind.
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing this! ♥
That part at the end is from a grizzly bear song ?

That part at the end is apparently just in live versions.
I was wondering why I could only find it on TH-cam
Hey Alan did they ever sell an album for this live concert? Thanks for the upload

Wow!

"666 upsidedowncross" and "89". They didn't play either of them, and only the first one made the new album. He said that the 89 song was too personal.
