This is really helpful thank you! I wish I would have incubated my turkeys eggs from the get-go. This is our first year doing this and I wanted to let our hen hatch them out and be a mother. The first two that hatched out did not make it. I have two viable eggs left, one has pipped and it’s under a broody hen because our turkey hen seems to have lost interest in sitting. I ran out and grabbed this still air incubator and I’m wondering if I should put the last egg in there that hasn’t pipped yet. Or I can leave it under our broody chicken and then move them both to the brooder when they hatch.
Just be aware that if you're planning on returning the babies to the mother, she may not realize they're hers and reject them. (Our incubated babies will be a separate flock of their own.) Best of luck to you and your birds! ✌️
@@CornfedLady1 yes we would keep them separate and raise them in the brooder with some chicks we have coming tomorrow actually. Thank you for double checking :)
