My cat is also an extra alarm clock that wakes me up before my alarm clock goes off. She also is emotional support that has been helping me pick myself up since 2020. She chose me and rescued me more than I will know.
Whatta swell video. And so true. I've had at least one cat livin' with me (my first roommate) since my bachelor days in 1976. Don't mess with your cats routines.
Nope. Mine have been with me long enough to know how boring and routine I am. Cody (12) runs the household and is the spokescat for my other two. I never know if his requests are for himself, or for Penny (14), or for little Hope (9 mos), or all of them. If he walks away, he was asking for one of the girls. If stays, it's for him, or all of them. Even Hope understands the process after only a few months in residence. I know I'm just the lowly human, but they all make sure I know they love me and that I'm their Mom. 😻
Cats think similar to us but with less complexity. When we're chilling on the sofa they'll more than likely do the same. They say cats don't think about anything in particular but I believe they do. It's just not on our level theirs is more survival based and not the sky bill or the car in service next week. But they often think about us like we do our friends and family.
That's really cool! Now tell us why cats (I'm care provider for a housefull) feel it's necessary to suddenly be directly in the path of my foot when I have to move in some haste. Almost they become little hairy footballs, but they remain unrepentant (but of course!) Many happy meows to one and all!
😂😊Not only are they unrepentant... they're so indignant ( like "WHY did you just kick me!") I have a 16½ y.o female ( her brother passed away a few months ago😢😢), a 6 mo old female , and a 5 mo old male. My kittens have become experts; they practice every day getting tangled in my feet. I fear a serious fall and broken bone one day. My senior Jenny stays clear but of my feet for the most part. I wish the little ones would get better at if. If i sound too complaining, sorry I'm not trying to sound negative. They are all rescues . We are blessed to have and spoil them ❤
@michelleg1225 Speaking of rescues.... A feral female came into the house while my back was turned putting fresh water out on the deck (quite a colony of ferals here on the edge of town). She reappeared at supper time: "I'd like some, too. Please?" Short version: she denned up in a corner of the office and gifted us with SIX gorgeous kittens! 🙀 My wife is a vet tech in town, I'm retired, now a woodturner and stay-at-home cat dad. Joy of the day!
9 times out of 10 when my cat follows me it's because she's hoping for food, play or is simply being nosy. She likes to watch me washing dishes (No I don't know either) so she often appears when that's happening. It's nice to have a furry little companion when there's a tiresome chore to do.
Twink hid things in the box spring, not under it. Drove me nuts. There is still something that rings under there that I haven't been able to find. Every time I sit on my bed or get up, it rings. LOL. Reminds me of her every day, as if I needed reminding. Cats are such a hoot, but who could live without them.
I Have 3 Indoor Kitties 😻😻😻 Myself ‼️ And Their Names Are Blizzard Rosie And Coco Kitty! All Three Of My Precious Little Kitties Follow Me All Around The House!!! To The Bathroom And Everywhere Else In The House!!! We Are Very Affectionate And Playful With Each Other!!! I Love My Kitties To Bit's BIG-TIME!!!✝️✝️🛐🛐😇🌟🤗🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦🇬🇧🇮🇱♾️🗽🦅❤❤❤‼️
It's kind of cute, I was in the hospital for a couple of days and my cat gave me a good sniff down, shoved his head in my purse and is stuck to me like a jealous boyfriend now 😂😂😂😂😂
Catface will forget to eat if I don't stand over and watch him when I feed him. If I go somewhere else he'll lose interest in his food and instead take an intense interest in where his human went. He'll get back to it soon enough, he's not starving, but I'm like "you just spent the last five minutes meowing at me until I fed you, EAT YOUR CAT FOOD!"
My two follow me to the toilet, unless they're deeply asleep. Other than that, one of them is very attached to early bedtime. She doesn't follow me then, though - she sits on the bed and demands my presence! 😄

Lucky you! 😉 They let you get *some* sleep. (purrrrrrrrr in the ear, then nudgenudge wet nose in the ear, dry it with tissue, roll over....., repeat)
Lovely 🐈🐈🐈🐈
Mines waits for me to go to the bathroom with me because I have her hairbrush in there for her.🙄

Ever move you make. Every breath you take.
I am a fan of Police when Sting was in the group as well
The full saying is, " curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought him back".
Fuzzbutt feels the need to be involved in everything I do. Nancy Mew indeed.
it's getting in on winter.. kitty uses me as a source of heat.

"I didn't kick you. You kicked yourself." - me, to my cat after he pulled that stunt and had the gall to meow about it.
@SimuLord 👈👍😹

I understand what you mean by "mirroring," but I never hide my pens 🖊 under the bed after using them... but that's where they end up. 🙀
Hair elastics here 😂

Hope you're feeling better and that your cat is a good nurse!
I am slowly on the mend and he's trying 😂

I used to wonder why I was always followed into the toilet, thanks to FF I now know. :)

More like a little stalker 😂
