    Lessons I took from this video:
    Being a big fish in a small pond is the way to go (Niching down)
    Solving a specific business is the key factor in getting the attention of a client
    Outsourcing your weak point is the way to scaling up
    Having a clear process to succes gives confidence to the client to move forward with you(It also gives a expert status)
    Differentiate yourself from the crowd, through content marketing
    Understand what your service does for the customer(Know the KPI's and find out how to reach them)
    Not knowing what problems you solve with your service will result in a hard time selling yourself
    If I had to choose from what I took from this video it would be: To niche down and get focused. Being a commodity will get you no where
    Whats yours?

    I was impressed by this video. I thought a young man with no business experience had found a way for agency owners like myself to make $20k per month. So I contacted Josh through linked in. I asked could he point me in the direction of a Linked In specialist he talked about. He replied saying the Linked In specialist worked for his agency and would I like to make an appointment to talk? So it’s a dog and pony show IMO. Ran you have a good channel, please research your guests further before having them on.

      Actually, I checked his new website and it seems way better than the last one. Not the greatest I have seen but...decent. Still sketchy as fuck when he claims that his coach works for his company. I mean what kind of mentor you are if you work for your student. I think he is an actual designer and he really does what he claims in the video. Just that maybe he is not doing as good as he wants us to believe... Anyway, the way he speaks shows that he has some selling skills. It seems that he can make a decent website as well. And he is having an idea about a strategy to acquire leads. Again I think he is what he said. Not as good or as transparent, however.

    Just one question: How does he make sure he is not regarded as Spam? Is the sales Navigator different from sponsored Inbox Messages? I get tons of generic Messages from 16yo "coaches" who wnat to tell me how to generate leads and close "big Deals" I wonder how he builds enough Credibility and Trust towards his prospects so that the are willing to send 10k + to an 18 yo Guy they have never met, and then engage in a remote brand building process. Am i not optinistic enough? It#s really incredible how much self esteem and just-do-it mentality these digital natives bring to the Table!!

      Many newbies who are exited to launch on the 2.0 and could do it themselves are pretty happy to pay the startup fees.
      Just closed a 5k landing page + ecom yesterday from a Facebook client, he didn't care which platform, he was even open to all my suggestions and all he cared about is a beautiful Ui and didn't even asked for my portfolio.
      He followed a 20yo guy referral to me and the trust wad built by the content that guy was always providing for free.

      @@oussamdz2761 what do you mean by 2.0? And how come that newbies have that kind of Budget? Arent they capable of utilizing a decent website builder to get a basic Website online? These are doubtful Questions i ask myself..not because i am sceptical but cause my i am right now building up a business model/niche offer that is aimed to people who just want to get online fast with a descent Website they can update themselfes. Actually it's a service that uses a website builder like squarespace and sells it as a done-for-you Solution. However my clients are mostly 40 plus small business owners who dont want to do it themselves. How did you generate that Client? which plattforms are u using? Thanks for your Answer! & Regards from Austria!

      @juandavidgarcia-594 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@vikkal2008 Hi Victor, i asked those questions myself, let me ask u, ¿how much are u charging for a basic website?, i think it will always rely on the value you show to the owners, we are all humans based on some common bias, so if are able to sistematically show that the X amount they spend is a lot less than the Y value they will get, the price become easier to raise (obviusly if u deliver the promissed to the client)

    • @oussamdz2761
      @oussamdz2761 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      2.0 is the web, high value clients want a custom design from scratch, that involves a custom and functional Ui, it is nearly impossible for them to create using any website building tool themselves because it takes so much time to understand how the web works + having very advanced design skills.
      The client I talked about has bought a hosting, a domain name, a do it yourself builder yet was stuck.
      Secondly, he spent years focusing on his products and has a money making strategy, and finally, this is the type of clients you are targeting not some broke people wanting a random website.
      And that's why ui/ux work pays well, because it is custom and hard to do.

What makes you think he has the integrity to tell the truth in this video? 100% he lives with his parents and has a mentor grooming him in business. Good for him for starting in business young, but he's a fraud and definitely not making anywhere near 10k/month. I would be surprised if he's making $500/month. The kid just finished high school. Yet he's pretending to be Steve Jobs and acts like he has two decades of experience as a marketer and thinks business owners won't see through it? He literally just finished high school. The least you can do is to learn HTML and CSS, and they are not that much hard at all, you can master their basics in one or two weeks of intense learning and practice.

    Congrats to him, seems like he found something that works for him. However, pitching this as an idea that will work at scale for many people after he’s only been doing it for a month and a half seems wrong.
    He should come back in 12 months and show us how he’s doing and not simply refer to “i have a guy” and using buzzwords each time an important point is raised

    Typically these lead agencies are effective if done correctly. I worked for Kennected which is a SaaS automated lead gen company for linkedin specifically.
    All of this is possible without automation and hiring an agency it just does take more time

    • @LiLAlbiHD
      @LiLAlbiHD 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also important to say - this was 2 years ago but automation is massively saturated at this point so I would say unless you are extremely targeted and working very closely with a coach, I wouldn’t use automation.
      People will be turned off more often than not as automation is around every corner and hard to tell who’s real or not

      Was thinking same thing. Sounds like he architects the wireframe based on strategy and his mmr method then passes it in trust to the designer to juice it up with the brand and designs. Id honestly guess a flat % per project, maybe 10% ?
      My route would be long game i think and to hire a fresh design intern out of college or finishing college to design the site and teach them webflow to build it. Take 4-6 weeks to train them on everything, give them a flat %, tons of experience, and fire quickly if things dont work out

    A simple marketing website for a profitable small business, $400 is definitely undercharged. 4k~8k is reasonable, over 10k you'll likely need a sizable team. Regardless, there's something to learn from this young man, thanks for sharing!

      @@alpacaikaritexas7754 Honestly, when I hear stuff like this, it's either a complete lie where this kid is trying to sell a course on how to get clients, and Ran might want to make extra dollars so he interviews him and gets %, or this kid fooled Ran (let us see his invoices and proof) or this kid is simply genius, if so I'm sorry and wish you all the best in your life!
      Tell me one thing, what kind of a person would give $10k to an 18 year old? People learn stuff like that for years and go to college and this kid (not trying to insult, but he's still too young) claims he can do it better? And even if he started 3-4 years ago, his mind can't comprehend all of that information as someone who's older and has real life experience. What kind of results does he provide to charge $10k?

    • @oussamdz2761
      @oussamdz2761 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The guy is more into sales and from this interview, he's definitely a good closer as he knows his numbers and target, the thing you're wondering about is why lot of ppl are cold messaging those ppl but they reject them yet trust this 18yo guy, answer is easy, he has a process and knows what to say and how to reach.
      90% of freelancers suck at talking to leads, suck at copywriting, suck at understanding business owners, once you don't suck at this and deliver value the marketplace doesn't care if you're 3yo as long as you deliver results.
      I started learning stuff he said at 19 and now I'm 21 and not even close to what he did, the complete bigger picture about everything he said completed few months ago for me and i assure you that a simple 5K client i closed through fb yesterday didn't even care about my portfolio or anything, he came because of another 20yo guy's referral all because he had free content on fb and built trust with him so quick by asking the right questions that shows i understand his needs. Didn't care my age, country, or experience..
      Only results that matters to these clients, even more for clients already in business and looking to optimize for more profits.
      Right messaging matters, sales matters,..

    • @alpacaikaritexas7754
      @alpacaikaritexas7754 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah the story did seem fishy, I think I fell for it mostly due to the fact I freelanced in high school but it's was for like 100-500 websites or logos, it was suspicious how no link of the work of Josh was done and how many times they mentioned flux 10k master class, and when you search on TH-cam it's literally flooded with content creators swearing they make 10-100k a month on Shopify or shady social media marketing tactics that they can teach you. I would like to give this video the benefit of the doubt but Josh just started a channel an hour ago here in the comments and no link to his company was posted. So? I'm switching sides here this video is very fishy.

      TDLRest also isn't it weird how Josh is looking away from the camera every second, you can guess he wrote some of the answers to Ryan questions beforehand as maybe how they agreed to do the interview but it kinda feels like Josh is reading off the screen most of the time.

    Wow ngl this kid is sketchy. If you're a business owner, how can you trust to do business with someone who has 0 case studies, but claims to have xx years of experience. "automation" is often mentioned as a magical buzzword. Isn't it weird that nobody knows what "blackbox" is this magically automates whatever gains, especially for an industry that is filled with innovations and explorations. Love your content man, but please inspect more about the people you're featuring/promoting - unless this kid paid you for this spot. Many of his stories are honestly not adding up. :/

      I think he was saying case studies showing quantitative data on specific websites conversions before & after. But that would mean basically, the only sites he ever did had to be his client’s first site or just kept no data whatsoever for whatever reason. Both sketchy and seem unrealistic

      It really was this easy to acquire clients with automation 2 years ago. Now it is extremely saturated and more often than not you will burn your opportunities just by using it unless super targeted, great messaging and a great linkedin coach. People can recognize the ai and automation’s getting passed around linkedin like crazy.
      Although linkedin is still a massive lead gen opp for your business, it’s changed when it comes to using automation. I would go the route of hiring a VA or something, pay them per close, and have an actual human being reach out if I were to use “automated” messaging.
