Schooling is no longer about education or learning. It is more about status indicator, financial burden on the parents, putting down those who are unable to cope academics. It is about unquestionable obedience. There is so much more to learn than just attending school.
It's right. Its not always you see that mathematics you learnt is getting used in real life or work. But this can be used in research or invention purpose. I feel that is what could be one of the reasons its taught.

According to National education policy (NEP), vocational training will be included in school syllabus from 6th-8th basic and from 9th advance level. CBSE board has started it, state boards will start it soon.
मुलं कुठेही टाकू नका. लक्ष देऊन नीट वाढवा. शाळेत नाव घाला. स्वतः भाषा नीट वापरायला शीका. सगळी टाकाटाकी नकोय. घमेल टाकणं तसंच मुलं टाकणं! काही फरक लक्षात येतोय का?
