They become entitled and selfish because they were traumatized and felt out of control in their childhood so now they try to control everything in their adulthood.

My dad was a blatant grandiose narcissist, while my mother was a covert. My brother took on a lot of physical abuse from my mom but and I would get the emotional. My dad used us children for his hero worship so we would get the blatant abuse from my mom because of her jealousy. I have come to a healing journey about the abuse but my brother not so much do. I don’t really think he even realizes what they are but does push back on their boundary violations all the time. I wish I could do that but I have found grey rocking works best for me avoiding them both.

    AGREE, REBECCA.
AND yes, HinWahdad, you are correct.
Entitlement is the perfect word in describing these people.
They actually believe that the 🌍 world should revolve around them. Absolutely INSANE.

I agree but also they be so that because of a childhood life that belittled them and put thorn into being in fear of who they are and how the world sees them.
They are made lower buy the people that programmed them growing up or some traumatic life experience that they didn’t handle or cope right with and or that they cared way too much or deeply what others think of them and will do whatever it takes to make it seem or look like they are most or more valuable than others and even more valuable than all others.
