Thank you Khanh for making these great videos!! If someone decided late that he/she wants to pursue optometry, would it be advisable to put shadowing hours unrelated to optometry in optomcas? Like physician shadowing hours?
From admission about missing out on experience during COVID “I tell people please not to worry about that. We will - and our faculty will - understand. This spring and summer are just going to be “not there” when it comes to experience. I mainly just hate that people are missing out on HAVING the experience and learning and getting excited/passionate about the field, you know? Hopefully not too many applicants will have waited and have NO experience because of these two semesters, but even so... if they did, then they did. Admissions reviewers will understand and allow for the way things have been. “ I think everything will proceed as normal with the only difference being zoom interviews instead of in person :)
