Haha, I know what you mean. Last year I was asked to commission a pilsbury dough boy. And I felt like taking a break from having to make a pattern for it. I found a good pattern and it turned out great. But sooooo much sewing parts on. I think I ended up changing a few things to make it easier, lol. I was like never again, ima low sew kinda girl.

Rhonda, I use cheap pillows for my filling. It is very soft and fluffy. It is also a lot cheaper.
Thank you for all the precious patterns. My grandkids love everything I make for them. I have been crocheting the children’s cartoon characters Bluey and Bingo. Everyone loves those. I had to buy the pattern but they were fun to make.
That’s what I use too. It’s usually really nice, but this time it was like quilt batting in a roll. I could of literally taken the caseing off and unrolled it into a flat rectangle. Usually it’s one big chunk. 🤷♀️
I almost did those two, but i got stuck on all the animals I wanted to get done. And now I’m trying to get a head start on Halloween. Your grandkids are so lucky to have you to make them such special gifts 🥰

I have to redo the whole thing, cause who wants to hear that. So I’m doing a little accessory for it first. If it works out.

I’ve been wanting to do a zombie cat for forever, but I saw one a few years ago that I can’t unsee, lol. You could probably transform most of my animal patterns into zombies by combining the animal pattern with the voodoo doll face. I almost did it with the elephant one. Thought it would be so cool in bright green and purple. 😊

@@Kelz-WelshKelz yes you certainly could. It’s a little longer in the head and body, so you may have to add a couple rows to the ears you use for proportions. But I think it should work out perfectly 👍😊

Can this be done in chenille yarn ?
Yes, it’s even cuter in chenille, you may need to skip row one of the head if you get that cone shape, and one repeat row in the head, it will depend mostly on the brand of yarn you use. I use Bernat blanket and my stitches are always on the longer side. 🥰
