Huh... the locket had the veve (symbol) of Erzulie, the loa (spirit) of love and beauty. I'd mostly thought of her as embodying romantic love, but Erzulie Mansur represents maternal love, and protects children from harm.

Worth being made into a longer version. Beautiful absolutely beautiful. Plus it explains what voodoo is used for & its not for devil worship as many seem to think.
So sorry dear it's actually used for evil, am an African and am telling you the truth... What we see everyday. This is a beautiful animation that only explores creative thinking and not really the reality of things.

The actual mother of those kids was that lady in that picture, who was to be seen pregnant. This lady in white was the good woman, and her sister, in the black (shown standing behind her in that picture) did magic on that pregnant woman to kill her. the woman in white tried to stop her but it was too late. So she took care of those 2 kids. and ahe did magic through vodoo for the little girl, so she could walk again.

Boy thought grandma killed his mother. But in actuality, the grandma's sister killed the kids' mother and crippled the girl in the process. Kids find this out through the vudo doll which happens to possess the spirit of their mother, vudo doll did something to get her daughter to walk again, and they are a whole family again in the end.

Just give the kid a shirt that's big enough for him, it's an animation, you can do anything.
Maybe that's why they did that.:)
Judging by the curcimstances the "kid" doesnt have that sort of luxury. If you were to pay attention to the setting of the story then you should have noticed how the house isnt "fit" (run down) and that the girl seems to have problems regarding her legs wich may be permanet. I think the old woman was trying to fix her leg using some form of magic, but the boy did it for her. In short I predict he lives in poverty and just cant afford a new shirt his size.

@@hi-gd4ml Hey. The Animation would have been so much more difficult due to the flapping shirt(and shorts) certain things are notoriously hard; grass, hair, clothes, etc, also because they are poor it made sense :)
That would convey affluence and clearly, they are not.
More adorable than scary, but really, really adorable. Yeah, I would sit through 90 minutes + of this. Great job!

it WAS scary at some times and a little confusing i guess he was scared of the other dolls being dead so the girl set down her doll and the Vudu doll brought her doll to life and he was happy then they figured out someone WAS trying to kill there grandma? aunt? or mother. But her last request form there mom was to bring back the strength in the girls legs cause she has lost the ability to walk on her own. That's why the vudu doll was made and the life esance he was given he used some of it to bring back the strangth in the girls legs but the aunt was so close to doing it herself that she did not want the kids to see the vudu doll or anything, but the grandma or aunt was so happy to see her "child" walk on her two legs that she did not care if they went up there and did the things themselves, so i think it did end possitivly and thats what i think... like if u agree!
@Tianna Elizalde ok let me clear it . Their mom was murdered by another aunt in some satanic ritual . And I don't know what happened to that aunt . But this aunt is taking care of the children . The boy thought it was this aunt . But when the doll completed the picture he realised it wasn't her .

when a little few of witchcraft and voodoo, become a great comical although sentimental adventure, great animated work, with a lot of doses of humour from the other side.

the little boy thought that his grandma killed his mother and the reason his sister couldn't walk but when the doll showed him the full picture and story he realized that it was a bad voodoo doctor that did such and the grandmother in reality was trying to save them and heal the little girl
