    Thanks lots of good info there. My opticians had the Crosslink but not the CL Pitch which I prefer visually but was wondering on the diff. This was a good review which highlighted the temples sims so effectively I can buy a spare set online and get what I want. Thank you again

    I'm looking for a new all plastic frame, any recommendations?

    Since the Crosslink has a curve (7 degree?), do they suitable for high prescriptions? I have -8.00 on one eye and -4.00 on the other.

    What type of coatings are included with Oakley Rx lenses? Is anti-glare, anti-fog coating included or add on options? How well the anti-fog coating performs? I have problems with glasses fogging up in the winter.

      Hey Etamlous,
      It depends on what lens you pick out. If you go with the clear or transition lenses through the authentic Oakley tab you will get a great antireflective coating included. Oakley currently does not offer an Antifog coating through there authentic program. If you order the frame with Sportrx lenses (the second tab) then you can add a great Antifog treatment to the lenses. It's not foolproof but it really does help.
      Cheers!

    I have about an -8.00 prescription. How is SportRx's Technology on High index lenses? I need something for basketball that is aesthetically pleasing yet durable like the Crosslink Strike or Flak 2.0 or Half Jack 2.0. Any suggestions?

    The temples on my Crosslink originals rotted/disintegrated :( the rubber doesn't take sweat very well? even though they are sport?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Seiki Somtaaw Hello, we know exactly what you are talking about. The rubber is called Unobtainium and is meant to wear off over time. Kind of like tires on a car. Depending on how much you sweat and your body chemistry the material can very on how long it lasts. For some people it wears off after a few months and for others it takes a couple of years. You can however order new temples that will come with new ear socks.

    I don't know if my eyes are "+" or "-" but they're somewhere between 7 and 8 and I was wondering if there is a limit on that spec for the lenses to fit in the frame?

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Bert! Our opticians would need to look at a copy of your full prescription but the Crosslink frames can usually handle a +/- 7 or 8.

      Thnx! it's just that I can't find a local(in Belgium) optics store that sells Oakley and I would buy the frame from a snow/skate shop and go to an optics store to get the lenses. Found a '08 prescription: R +8.00/-3.00/176 :: L +8.00/-3.00/1 I don't know if this helps any further. Just don't want to spend money on a frame if I'm not able to get lenses that fit.

      The Crosslink High Power frame and Crosslink MNP would be able to handle your prescription. I have attached links to both eyeglasses below. If you are looking to get prescription Crosslink eyeglasses we can help with that. We do ship internationally to Belgium and it is only 40$ fee for shipping. Our lab has a lot of experience working with strong prescriptions and we have a promo for 75$ off eyeglasses.

      So I got a new Prescription, found out I'm only farsighted does this mean I only need "single vision" lenses? My next question is: does the curve of the frame going to make my lenses feel like I'm looking trough a bowl type of glass due to my strong prescription (L: +7.50/-3.00/0 R: +7.00/-3.00/0)? And 3rd: I've been looking at your lense type packages, wich one would you recommend if I wanted the most sunglass type of lenses but still capable to do every type of activity and having enough contrast(light)?

    Your Product Details lens width sizing is incorrect on the 52:
    www.sportrx.com/oakley-crosslink-pitch-52-eyesize.html
    It has the 54 sizing listed.
