The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is the premier late night talk show on CBS, airing at 11:35pm EST, streaming online via CBS All Access, and delivered to the International Space Station on a USB drive taped to a weather balloon. We are back in the "writers strike" times and I am loving it.
Except Conan and Stephen go off the air as much as possible (without also getting fired) when that happens...because they have souls and take the writers' side.

Conan O’Brien you went to South Korea for a USO tour a few years ago and you took a picture with my son...an American soldier.. he was so excited about that picture and really enjoyed you visiting his unit. i'm kinda loving all these shows taping from home. feels like we're really all in this together and there's some sweet, funny, genuine moments coming out in a lot of the ones i've watched. definitely a highlight to come out of all this shit.

I seem to remember an interview with Weird Al in which he mentions that, legally, he doesn't have to ask any of the copyright holders of the songs he parodies for permission, but he does so anyway out of professional courtesy.
He's right on that. Anyone can make parodies out of any song - it is the same as mocking someone or making them the butt of a joke. It is a form of freedom of speech/expression. They may not like it or take offence but it is legal.
They should do an episode together with Craig Ferguson also...I'd pay to see

Thank You Waryaa Wariiri! I thought the exact same thing after seeing 1 of her announcements & then passed on the last 2. I applaud her for doing this however being maybe ratings orientated annoys me. I can't imagine Conan never agreeing to do it. He is humane & caring of others. He been down in the dumps & pulled himself back up again whilst always looking after his staff, family, friends & audience. I really dislike the way Conan is treated or maybe forgotten. Team Coco!!!

I haven’t seen Colbert this charming in ages. Its like his guests on the late show couldn’t handle him being antagonistic so he’s pulling punches and it sometimes comes off as passive aggressive. Which is too bad because Colbert really shines as a contrarian and as a provocateur.

These two (Conan and I were classmates BHS '81) are two of the smartest, funniest people I know in all of comedy out there these days. Stephen is also one of the smartest, kindest folks on TV, period. For some crazy reason I also love that they are both Catholic and yet they get and appreciate Jews. I love that they are my age peers, that they are white guys and - dare I say it - pretty evolved as far as humans go. I also love that - without fail - whenever I hear them they always get one or more "laugh out loud" moment out of me and that says A LOT cuz I don't do it much! THANKS GUYS!

I watched this and the previous video and it was fantastic to listen to Stephen and Conan bounce back and forth! They have such great chemistry together and it's very natural for them to playfully barb and banter (not to say less of other crossovers with Stephen which were brilliant) , and I loved every minute.
I would love to see these two talk a bit more and play a game of ad-libs or something similarly ripe for comedy mining.
