Hello. I really enjoyed watching your vacation video. It relaxed me so much as if I was actually vacationing right along with you guys...The chili and sandwiches made my mouth water lol. Y'all made camping look so easy and peaceful!! And you all have a beautiful family! I'm so glad that you guys had an awesome time in Destin, Florida!!! My husband and I will have to put this on our bucket list...Thank you so very much for taking your subscribers along on your trip. Take care and I can hardly wait for the next video. Crystal 🌺
We're from Louisiana also, about 20 miles south of Lafayette. Love Destin , it's beautiful and just a really fun vacation spot. My wife and I really enjoy watching you videos. It's nice seeing boys that age enjoying being with their parents and doing things as a family. Yall keep on travelling and well keep on watching.
Once again thanks for sharing your fun family travels. Your boys are really growing up. I just love you guys. Wish I could meet ya’ll! You are the kindest, loving family. Stay safe. 🤣
How fun! Love that Cameron was involved in baking. Keep encouraging that! So many do not have the basic life skills of "getting in the kitchen" and therefore either have no interest or perhaps are afraid. Great job! I could see him doing a grillin' & chillin' video next! Destin is a very cool place (but since we just got back from St John... I'm a hard judge!).
Love these. Next time try Daytona beach shores. You can drive right on the beach!! It’s a laid back beach town with great casual dining and beach shack restaurants. Beach is amazing.
This was so fun to see. When I graduated high school in '81, a lot of us got together and came to this hotel at Fort Walton Beach for a few days. It was the Ramada Inn back then. I'm so surprised they still have the same swim-up pool. Looks just like it did then.
Hey yall. Its been a minute but I'm here watching the blogs just not posting. But I'm back LOLOL. Destin I'd beautiful. You must check out the east coast as well. We lived in fla for yrs and yrs and when I retired we moved here to Mississippi. By.. When you come thru Ms.stop by for a home cooked meal and coffee. Were in Meridian. You may not plan on any side trip while here but we are rich in history.. I didn't want to move here but this is where my partner is from and after 20 plus yrs in fla by my family..it was time to be by her family. I love it now. Ok this is turning into a book LOLOL.. Stay healthy..happy..and safe. Till next time
Hi Alisa & Jason, Hope you both are doing well. Such a fun vacation. Pool days are definitely the best. Can’t wait for your next vlog. Have a fantastic week my friends! ✨❤️
Great video, thanks for sharing. Forgive me if someone already asked this but I'm curious to learn about the sleeping arrangements for your family in your RV. Where did the boys sleep?
I love Destin, I lived in Niceville for 7 years and worked in Destin. You should try McGuires Irish Pub In Destin on US 98 E, they have the best Irish food next to Ireland which I can say because I have been to Ireland 3 times, beautiful country. My favorite is the shepherds pie and a great drink called the Irish Wake that can knock your socks off. Enjoy, another good place to visit is crab Island. There are so many. Enjoy your trip.
That map is a cool Idea to have and long driving you have to do. So many places to visit for the family. Careful with the Chilli with so many in the RV. No Tooting, Ha! Ha! Stay safe, Cheers.!
Your boys crack me up! (all three of them). They always make me think about the snorkeling on the deck of a ship. I find it interesting that many of us cruiser took to camping during the shutdown. I am very intrigued to see the rest of your trip!!
We converted a cargo trailer into a camper and have been camping a lot and we are always looking for new places, and this place is now on our bucket list. Thanks for sharing.
Yay! Another RV video from you guys! It looks like you had a great time there and what a wonderful spot for camping!!! So beautiful. I was worried for you when you had to run across that busy road/highway(?) to get to the hotel and beach. Once there, I could tell it was a heavenly place for a family picnic and some ocean-fresh air. Last but not least, cocktail at the pool? I'm in! Thanks for this tour. I can't wait to see y'all make your way to all those other states on your itinerary, it seems a bit intimidating (to me) but also exciting to hit so many states on a long trip. I love your blank USA map with the stickers. Also that chili looked delish, I add dark chocolate to my chili sometimes, you might want to try that out next time instead of the sugar for a new twist. Cheers and safe travels!
That Chilli looked really good, you guys. I like to add, Fritos, sour cream, cheese and green onions on my chilli. Too bad y’all didn’t get to see Destin when it is really greenish/blue, at that time it looked brownish from a storm.
I don’t know about camping on the beach. I know there are some rv parks I think one is in Tamoka state park. But October 14-17 is biketober Fest. That’s really something. I think Jason would enjoy!!And You guys would love racing north turn restaurant. Live bands on the water great food great vibes. All with the racing theme. Laid back shit kicking good times. Also down the hatch and down under. The speedway racing experience is sick and the garlic Italian restaurant which has been on the food network is in nearby New Smyrna. I love Daytona because going to the beach is not a job you drive right onto the beach set yourself up and you’re good to go. Ponce inlet by the lighthouse is a much see beach. An unbelievably wide span of flat packed sand and refreshing seaweed free surf. Also a drive on beach. Check it out sometime!!! Also daytona flea market. Lots of great stuff dirt cheap. Fresh produce shirts cold beer jams honeys jellies. And fudge!!! The shores hotel is great and there is a small boutique Hard Rock. But if you can camp on The beach do it!!!!!!I think there may be camping somewhere on beach. Just not sure what area. You do not want to go to the seedy side of Daytona which is by the Hilton.
Yay you'll be coming through Kentucky. Just a shame you missed the Chicken Festival here in London, KY in honor of Colonel Sanders, whos first restaurant still stands in our county.
Jason, chili looks delicious. You should have used all the beans. Don't you know that eating beans is the covid test... if you don't smell them afterwards you have covid.
Chili is a great RV meal or camping, have you ever tried Carol Shelby's Texas chili mix? It is very good and includes all the spices you need to make great chili. I also add smoked sausage in my chili!!
Hello from Ontario the beach looked awesome we have a sm motorhome and that looks like a lovely Rv Park are you allowed to name it if the border ever opens on our side it would be a nice place to try. Thx for a great video.
Looked at that place a few times an always wondered about it, well now I know...looks like a place we need to go. I really was hesitant because of crossing the highway, but didn't look too bad. Could you go up and go across that walkway/bridge over the road if the traffic was busy? Great video as always, looking forward to the rest of the journey.
@@EECCTravels Charleston is a beautiful area a lot of historical sites to see. and good beer. I’ve done a few carnival cruises out of there since it so close. Look forward to seeing your videos of you guys enjoy in Charleston.
Not a big Ormand beach fan. Or Flagler. Went to school there. Also tried the Flagler winery. That was a waste Nothing beats the wide expanse and beauty of Daytona beach shores and ponce inlet. But to each his own.
Oh you're chilli looks good! Destin brings back great memory's. When I lived in Ocean Springs MS. Every time I got a four-day weekend I was right there. OR Sandestin OR picture-postcard Seaside ! Love your channel.love where y'all will b taking us on this gorgeous and exciting trip!💗 As always safe and happy travels
They are technically backpacking chairs, I found them on Amazon. I wanted them as camp chairs since we have small cargo space but they are also perfect beach chairs.
Hey how about Indiana? I 65 goes straight to Alabama . Check out Brown County or West Baden in southern Indiana - you wont regret it! 😀 ( I live in Indiana by the way)
When was this trip? I heard there was red tide in destin How was the restrictions there? Was it crowded? Were you able to pass over the scenic drive over the bridge by Pensacola? I was wondering if it was open now since hurricane Sally had done some damage

I've added bittersweet chocolate chips and cocoa powder to past batches of my chili. To me It added more to the color (darker) than to the taste, though there is a little more "depth" to to the savory factor of my chili. Personally I'd rather add chipotles than chocolate as I'd rather have more spice than sweetness.
What a great way to spend time with the boys! You are making great memories! Love watching your travels!

There’s nothing like eating a homemade sandwich on the beach! Idk why, but it always tastes better
I’m so excited for all the upcoming vlogs for this trip! Destin looks so beautiful
I’ve stayed a few times at that hotel, when it was the Ramada FortWalton Beach. Good times!!

I can smell the muffins. Nice trip. God bless.

I want to thank you for sharing this with Alicia. Seeing this makes me so very homesick. We just that place and we’re from Navarre Florida.

The Florida place called 30A down the road from Destine and talk about water there OMG .

Today is September 30th. Please let me know when you get to NJ. I'll take you to the Beach in Seaside Boardwalk or Island Beach State Park!!
When you guys do Minnesota, I suggest either in the Spring or Fall.. Late Sept...for fall leaves.

Yes you can use the walkway. The traffic would let up because of a traffic light so crossing where we did wasn’t bad.

3 minute chili or 5 minute chili 😃
Where did you get the beach chairs? I love them!
They are technically backpacking chairs, I found them on Amazon. I wanted them as camp chairs since we have small cargo space but they are also perfect beach chairs.
What are you cooking the Chilli on outside?
We have a single burner that plugs in.

I loved it.
I traded it in for a car for a down-payment after my husband passed in 2018.

We thought they never end...
Enjoy your family and outings and freedom now....time is short
I like your videos , My advice is :
Please put date when this filmed in Description ☺️☺️☺️
Where are you stopping in TN?!
Haven’t decided yet but probably Nashville
Does Jason do all of the cooking in the family?
Most of it yes. He says cooking is relaxing to him.

To me It added more to the color (darker) than to the taste, though there is a little more "depth" to to the savory factor of my chili. We have a friend that throws a Hershey bar in his, but we have never tried it. Sugar adds the sweetness for us. The chipotle sounds good!
You're practically in my back yard! Enjoy. Weather has been great.
It was beautiful!
How comfortable is that motorhome for 4? I am in the market.
It is really best for two but the boys don’t mind a couple of nights on the dinette bed.
Jetty Park is Cape Canaveral
Yes we just found it when we boarded Mardi Gras on Saturday
Are you headed to gulf shores ?
No, we were in Gulf Shores in May. Trying a different beach on this trip.
"We're not going to add in all these beans..."
I think maybe when in the RV you should consider chili con carne. Just saying. LOL
How do you get around once you're all hooked up or is a pain to disconnect when you go out?
It only takes us about 5 minutes to set up or tear down. When it is just the two of us we take the scooter.
@@EECCTravels you guys are awesome... keep inspiring us!

I am not sure but we buy it in Alexandria

They were 6 miles from where I live!
What is the name of the RV park and hotel across the street?
The hotel across the street is called The Island and is located on Hwy 98 in Fort Walton Beach
It is Destin West RV Park and The Island Hotel.
jetty Park for many years

How can edit one not like Jason and Alyssa’s videos

What is the hotel name?
The Island
