I never used t7v but i had Adam Audio f7 & a7x. Sound difference was night & day. Biggest change was the 3d 180 degrees soundstage besides the much better midrange & tighter bass. I'm guessing difference would be similar here. Ofcourse I loved the a7x & their ribbon tweeter so much that I upgraded to their home audio line tensor Delta with a ribbon midrange driver. I still own the tensors & can't imagine life without these Adam drivers. Thanks Klaus?
Not to be harsh, but you kinda glanced over one of the biggest features of these monitors which is the integration with sonarworks. That's potentially a big deal for every home studio owner out there if it lives up to the hype. That's also probably one of the biggest feature differences in these V's from their X predecessor. I've personally got a lot of treatment up in the studio but still struggle with a bad 80 hz null. If these can solve that without having to load a plugin or introduce latency by using Sonarworks systemwide, I think people would wanna know that. Best of luck to you man! Just some feedback.
Don’t know why, but listening on the Sennheiser HD-25 headphones the T7 sounds better for me. The A7 sounds more flat and the T7 more like with a little bit pushed highs and lows. But possible it’s only on my headphones. I’m also thinking which ones I should get.
You’ll really want to hear them in person to make a decision. Otherwise you’re hearing them in a room, through a mic, on TH-cam, on headphones. Cheers!
I owned them. They sound better as a home hifi speaker than a studio monitor. The image is flat, not revealing the detail for mixing purposes. More of a 2D image.
They do sound more flat and present with more mids... I wonder how they translate ... really nice punchy tones compared to the softer T7Vs... would be amazing to win those but Finland would be a long way to sent them :)
I just compared these in person: the A series is just insane on how much of the details it grabs. The T series drops a little out. For the price though can’t go wrong with either depending on your budget.
How do they compare sound wise against the Yamaha HS 8 that you have?! What would you recommend and why?!! I have now testing the Yamaha HS8 with Rokit 5 Classic and Rokit 5 G4 at home with the possibility to return them and thinking about those Adam a7v or Neumann Ks120. Where I live there's no shop around where I can audition them!! Thanks for the video!!
I have a video coming up, where I compare these A7V's to the HS7's from Yamaha. Stay tuned for that video, I'm sure it'll answer some of the questions you currently have.
Great video!! I found an offer for a pair of used A7Vs just under 1 year old for 800€ in total, but I was told that the Evo Alpha twins are far better, have you ever tried them? What do you think?
Any chance you might do a comparison between the A7V's and the Focal Shape 65's? seems these 2 should be going head to head but im not seeing anyone talk about it.
Hi Edward, i'm looking for all around mic with a flexible budget and i'm a sucker for looks too, all things considered is the WA47 the best and most worth it mic in the market right now?
I got the t series, thinking is it work another grand for a home studio…. I’m very name brand/ quality driven… but me and my wallet doesn’t agree all the time lol
the T7V always sound better on youtube videos whatever they are compared to no wonder they are a major success, yes even in this listening with headphones blind test the T7V win lol it's the same for any monitor reviews on any channels...they just go through better on mic apparently
Sorry but this is only showing how to not compare and listen to studio monitors. That close and without proper placement you just record terrible comb filtering effect of speakers canceling each other. Anyone sho is serious please at least read the manual or go to see great Adam audio videos about proper speaker placement.
Disappointing and near pointless to compare these to the T7Vs and not the A7X. Of course they sound much better than a T7V. This is hardly an actual review. Just an unboxing with an opinion of they sound good. Not a quality or thorough review at all.
A7X aren't on sale anymore it would make little to no views while A7V are a major seller and people might want to upgrade, if anyone reads this 1 year later and has the same question as andy from what I've heard in other reviews no it's not worth going from A7X toA7V the difference is too small between them, they are an upgrade but not worth spending 1000$ on
It appears that the updated Adams are more focused on the clean and punchy Lows which is not what a real string bass is about As far as the mid range and highs they are equal, so to pay that extraordinary inflated price for the new “A”series to me is not worth it. For my strings, brass, sax section, woodwinds, Itopia bells, and my Yamaha Genos I’ll stick with the T series. Jmho. Good luck.

just got a set of these. I was blown away. I had Kali LP6 before. I was shocked at the difference.
I wish you considered vocals too in sound test, a song with vocals
Love the monitors! Nice content like usual man! Lots of love to your channel ❤️🔥❤️🔥
Thank you!

Do you think it might be worth spending twice the price by buying the A7V compared to the T7Vs?
@@danielebellezza8699 Absolutely, much much better midrange which matters a lot & 3 dimensional soundstage is what you get with the A series.
YESYESYESYESYES I've been waiting for a Review about the A seriessssss THANK YOU!!! SO MUCHH!!

@@samchoate1719 definitely. I’ll check them out in person 👌
Flatter the better my friend
If he just unboxed them, they're not broken in yet. The highs should smooth out some after 75 to 100 hours.

Fantastic Edward. We will receive our first stocks later this month. Guys in Sa cannot wait !!

Awesome!!
Hey can you do Adam A4V?
🔥🔥🔥from Zimbabwe
Hi!
Quick question
Are they supposed to distort at louder volumes? The led turn yellow sometimes and the membarnes shake and crackle like crazy..
😁 Disappeared for a while... Am baaack then boom brodi hits me with a fire vid🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥... ❤️From SA 🇿🇦

Is it only in video or T7V have much clearer sound?

I personally think that EDM works best with Monitor testing because of clean punchy drums and a deep rich low end
compare with music with some vocals too
Want these but I have a very small room 2.5 metre x 1.5/-1.7 metres, is it worth getting the a4s?
If you get a subwoofer as well, getting the a4v’s is worth it 👌🏻
Another great review
Great speakers
Dope content as usual
Thank you so much!!

JUST SET MINE UP! 2 DAYS AGO DID ANYBODY TO THE ADAM BURN IN WITH Adam A-Sound?
Great video!! I found an offer for a pair of used A7Vs just under 1 year old for 800€ in total, but I was told that the Evo Alpha twins are far better, have you ever tried them? What do you think?
Genelec 8030c and adam a7v, which one is better?
Great review! I’ve definitely been looking at these, but I’m also interested in the Kali IN-8 V2s. Any chance a review on those could be on its way?
Thx for the review ! What would be the comparison between these monitors and the S2V ? Is it worth to pay more than the double ?
I preffered Eve Audio..It has a better stereo imaging and transient i think. But A7V serie is very good too.
Any chance you might do a comparison between the A7V's and the Focal Shape 65's? seems these 2 should be going head to head but im not seeing anyone talk about it.
Just Wait for neuman kh150🙂
Hi Edward, i'm looking for all around mic with a flexible budget and i'm a sucker for looks too, all things considered is the WA47 the best and most worth it mic in the market right now?
Hi Rasyid. I'm a huge fan of the WA47. If you are looking for great sound and an awesome look, that is definitely the microphone to go for!
@@EdwardSmithMusic how does it compares to other mic in under $2000 such as TF51?
@@Harrellllll The WA47 offers more for the price. The warmth is unmatched.
Is there a cheaper model for beginners?

How do I turn them off without a button on the back?
You don't. Just leave them on.
I'll stick with my Yamaha HS7s. They do the job at significantly less money.
i pray I get a chance to win. Taken the time to subscribe to this nice guy.
Thanks for your video Logan
