    Great in-depth video
    But one question
How have you wired your warn winch??
Off the lithium or off the starting battery or do you have another auxiliary battery up front to run winch
    Cheers

Lithium batteries are not designed for the loads a winch can produce.
We recommend always running your winch off your start battery this allows your alternator to provide the correct power to your winch when under a high load situation.

Mind if I ask what made you choose the Jmacx over the Superior kit - currently tossing both up myself.

Nice Rig mate, love the attention to detail with the lighting and electrical. I’ve got a 78 coming 2022 & I’m going to throw a JMacx at it and an Alu-Cab conversion amongst other things. I like to travel alone and as remote as possible so I thought I’d put a Water Cooled High output Alternator on it. My main reason for that was because I am a little bit limited for roof space for solar. (Compared to my 79 series & Canopy roof space) & also when your camped with the Alucab up the solar panel might not be operating at its best, especially if one’s camped in the shade 😂
I notice with your A pillar gauge there you said you were monitoring the Alternator with it as opposed to the battery. Why is that? Is it merely because the RedVision is already looking at the battery?
Since your a man with an eye on the Toyota alternator & someone that actually understands electrical What sort of currents are you seeing through the standard Alternator ? (I realise it varies).
In my 79, the solar just does so well through the Red Arc BCDC but again with the Troopy I’m going to be more restricted with solar and I thought I might need to get creative so when I’m poking around the tracks or going to get supplies;(or whatever) that I’m jamming as much down its throat as possible. Anyway, if you have 5 I’d be interested to know how you think the cruisers alternator is going. Cheers.

Hi Andrew at Accelerate Off-Grid Touring
Could you please tell me where you got your garage door switch . what i need to buy and how to install it ...... Would really appreciate it

Its just a normal garage remote that i soldered wires to the switch on the circuit board and ran them out to a switch on the dash. If you want to get tricky you can also wire up the remote battery to run off the car battery. The remote then lives behind the dash. Cheers, Andrew
