Thanks great review! I Just started riding 2 weeks ago, but wanted to get my own bike. So went out to look at an '06 VFR 800 at a resale shop (ended up being a bit big for me). They had two '09 FZ6's on the show room floor, one was a standard and one was an 'R' with only 125 miles on it. I picked up the FZ6R, it's white, as it was the best fit, only thing I need to do is get the pink/black decals off of it... Been riding for hours the past 24 hours, it is an Awesome 1st bike. If I can ask, how much was the two-brothers exhaust and did you do it yourself of have a shop do it and dyno it?
I plan on getting the 2012 or 13 either this or next month. It must be the camera mic like you say, but based on TH-cam videos, I don't like the Two Brothers exhaust. I was looking a more like the M4 gp exhaust. Comments?
I will be buying this bike in about two weeks, and your review was one of the main reasons that I decided to go with the 2009 FZ6r over the other choices I was considering. Please let me know how easy (or hard) it was to remove the stars at the bottom as I will be doing the same. Thank you!
What would you think about this for a first bike for a new rider? I have dirt bike experience and just all around natural and intuitive bike experience. Bike riding is in my blood. Im looking to buy a bike and I want something in the 600cc range, preferably a sport/adventurer for a little bit more upright riding position. I appreciate any comments and/or advice. Thank you.
after going thru the course ask ur teacher what bikes u like and is it safe etc... personally if u do above average, u can get this motorcycle or anything smiliar as in a ninja 650 or sv650 (65-75hp) just take it slower it takes a lil getting used to. if u are completely unsure of ur skill or u struggle to pass, get a ninja 250/300 or even cbr500rr.

Mine came new in yellow.... However, you could just plasti-dip your bike any color you want. Search for "plasti dipped motorcycle" You can do it yourself and its cheap..
Love the bike! Planning on getting one as first bike this summer, but by these years it's hard to find a brand new FZ6R with cool colors and decals. Just got the new 2014, but the white and red makes it look like a toy, not a serious bike. $7000 for extended warranty is great man, I'll check that out with your advice when dealing it! Thanks! ;-)

i bought mine and it was my very first bike, and i went in for a ninja 600 but i got approved for a fz6r and i fell in love with it
about how much have you spent on it all together including the price of the purchase of the bike and all of the new accessories

Would you recomend this bike for a beginer? I have never driven a proper bike yet, i am going for a licence this year and searching for a new bike.

what fender eliminator did you install? and where did you find it?
Can you have a power commander with a stock exhaust?
