Another me too ! When I did this, I was the Klingon getting electrocuted at 3:36 and my Wife one of the red shirts beamed down at 3:59. Gotta say - your Digital copy of an old VHS tape is far better than mine !
This experience was ride at universal studios park in partnership with paramount pictures? Did they have different versions so could pick which set want to play on from any movies before generations?
No. It was extremely templated. Ten minutes, in and out, the edit was already complete as you were doing it (i.e. the tiny little video moments they filmed "live" went straight into open spots in the preformatted footage from The Wrath of Khan). That's why the "Oh no!" after my Klingon Wessel line gets slightly cut off... they didn't even slide the footage around after the fact!
I find your use of the word "literally" in the description to be... illogical. ;-) (Seriously, though... the way it's used as an emphasis word nowadays, instead of a word that distinguishes between literal and figurative statements, is irritating. I tried explaining it to a teenager a few weeks ago, and moments later he used it the wrong way again. Sigh.)
THis was awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Lol. My uncle did this. He played a Klingon captain. I still remember his lines, 'Oh jimbo jaw,' and then he would burst into laughter.
That was really cool and all these young kids get into it! 🤣🖖🏻
My parents did this, back in '89.
Me and my friends did this. Still have the VHS tape. I was a Klingon and my two friends Enterprise bridge officers. I was so jealous.

Jeez am I the only one who wasn’t a Klingon??
THe Klingon captain and the kid that tore off the klingon turtle head were my favs
Love it! 😂
I did this with my family when I was a kid. Can’t find the tape anywhere!
Nice! I did this back in 92. I did one of the Klingons that was attacked by the monster and at the very end.
must have been fun to do!
Oh it was a hoot. My only issue was not getting to spend more time in the uniform.

One of my fondest memories, putting on the klingon uniform, standing there defiantly, and saying "no way dude"
The foam rocks were fun too but I couldn't keep a smile off my face lol
