I am SOOOO relieved that Dak is staying with the Canucks! The Garland, Joshua, Blueger line lives!

Joshua makes a difference for the Nucks, when he was out the team lost a step and an engine.

Get signing. You don't let the guy who won the team's Unsung Hero Award two seasons in a row just walk.

Love the guy. So glad he's locked up now 4 years! 🎉

Yes he could've gone somewhere else for more money and credit to him for being the player he was in last season. With that said, the coaches of the csnucks helped him to get where he is today, if not for them maybe he doesn't even get 2mill a season. He made the right choice to stay in van for lower than what he can get in the market.

Beauty signing! + The Chaos Giraffe signed at 50% of his previous contract! Solid day by management!

From the outside looking in, after what the canucks did last season. How can anyone look and not be impressed with what management has been doing so far this offseason. Guenztel, there is a spot on the top line for you. Vancouver will love you! 7x9m coming up. get it done!

His relationship with Basant Motors definitely sealed the deal here! :)
Joking aside, I think it is a very reasonable deal for both sides. Joshua is a late bloomer, and his skills set I think can set him up very well as the physical piece in the top six to play with Petey and the snipper winger that hopefully the Canucks can get... I know the guy has never scored 20 or more goals at the NHL level, but having him ride shotgun to Petey and the other winger (Guentzel?) I can see him getting 25 or even 30 goals, as long as he doesn't break his hands fighting someone.

Good decision. He understood that the opportunities he was getting here wouldn't necessarily be offered elsewhere.

Joshua actually led the playoffs in hits until the mid point of game 4 of the finals.

In the playoffs, when your top lines are being checked to death a lot of wins come off depth scoring, and this Canucks 3rd line is lightning in a bottle.

joshua knew alot of his success came from Garland and Blueger. Yes he could get more in free agency but he would have been on his own not with the other parts to his success

He’s a much better player at the new cap hit. Plus he was actually playing much better in the second half of the season. I think he found his groove with Tocchet’s system.
