Typically the milkshake is the killer. Wise choice saving for a few bites in. When milk hits the acids in your stomach it curdles which can seriously slow your stomach's ability to break it down and push it through the small ones.
Eating other stuff first will hopefully clear the acids and what does curdle won't be clumped.

I've come to fully expect you winning pretty much every challenge, but I did NOT expect not only the American-style fare but even more so the Utah Jazz Donovan Mitchell jersey!!! As someone from Utah, we don't get much love (understandably) abroad, that was a cool ending.

i'm around 90 kg(200 pounds i think) and decently fit but seeing that plate i was really impressed, seeing him eat it whole in 30 min was insane. that would probably kill me too, while being 25% bigger.

pro tip for pouring milkshakes, you should shake the containers around a bit before pouring to ensure the solids stay in solution while you pour

Beard, please do a video which explains the process leading up to a challenge. How you handle the huge sodium intake, how you feel after. Anything you do to help etc etc.
If you look thru his channel, there's 4-6 year old video where he does just that.

Today I met Mr and Mrs Beard on the Manchester Christmas market! They were just as lovely as they are on camera 😊 and it was lovely to see another person from West Yorkshire as the Mancs do make me feel a bit home sick! 😅 if you see this guys have a merry Christmas and my boss would like to make you and aranchini challenge!! 🎄

I think I enjoy the videos where he has a bit of time and can enjoy it rather than the speed challenges where he attacks it like a hyena. Great video Beard! And Donovan Mitchell played for the Utah Jazz for quite a few seasons and recently was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers so that is a pretty nice jersey to own.

If a world-class eater barely scrapes by, either the time limit is too strict, or there is too much food. I'd say an hour for this challenge is more than reasonable given how much food they're asking you to eat!
The person that had failed the challenge twice and was returning that evening for another go would have been gutted to see someone beat them to the wall of fame.
I was thinking this same thing. Although it's not just some random person that finished it. He'll be on the wall next to The Beard, that is if he managed to finish it.

Pretty brutal capacity challenge, well done! I doubt there will be anyone else that finishes it in the time allotted that isn't an elite eater. They might want to give people 45 minutes instead to give them a prayer of a chance.
