I wish there were more videos of Darling worshiping our Lord, She is a wonderful perso to start the day with, here in my little apartment. This one song is such a blessing to me. I guess this was reforded five years ago but it is still blessing people..
That song is one of my all-time favorites as well! She sang that song better than anybody! You should have seen her when the choir was behind her at Trinity. It was simply amazing! I love her passion when she sings!

Listened this New Year’s Day. Hearing Darla, seeing John and so many dear faces was like going home. I so love my CHC family and I do miss them all. Thank you Darla Spain. You are such a treasure in my life.

Oh Jeffie! I just saw your comment on your moms video from CHC homecoming. I’m so sorry about your dad- God, he was such a kind and loving man! Words just can’t even express how sad I was to read of his passing! I still hold you all up in my prayers, I wish I knew how to get ahold of your mom; I wish she’d post one song video each week on a TH-cam channel and get to patreon level. This was at Christian Heritage Church in Tallahassee, Fl. John Spain was the choir director/ music minister with Darla, and as a former member of that choir, I was so glad to find this, because I had just found out that John had gone Home🥺😢😪 and there he was, directing for a homecoming service! Darla is incredible, and I can’t wait to hear her when Jesus steps out on that cloud!! Hallelujah!!

Gloria Lee Young don't think there are many vids of Darla out on TH-cam. This was 100 yr. Anniversary of Christian Heritage Church in Tallahassee, FL. I believe she's still out in Las Vegas. That's me on trombone, always a very moving experience with John and Darla Spain.
And Darla recently lost John to heart troubles- it was just too full of love. I think she’s in Vegas still; a couple of the kids are out there. I wish I could connect with her! She should be traveling (well, after Covid ) and making albums, or at least be doing recordings for patroon supporters, who I know would jump at the chance to support her!
