I am actually really pleased that he gave us a performance as Data once again (probably the last time) despite him not really wanting to do that, which i can totally understand. And even thou his appearance in "Picard" will only be a very brief moment probably… i'm still very glad we got it. So yea Brent. Thank you :) It really is a lovely gift to the fans and it is MUCH appreciated. I just wish it was in the Prime universe and not CBS' "30% different because license-issues" Universe.
@@kennethbaker5223 Where are you getting your delusions that any Star Trek produced by Kurtzman and Bad Robot are actually good shows let alone set in the same universe as the Classic Star Trek series produced before 2009? I don't see the nihilism in the pre-2009 Star Trek series for one thing, and that's a HUGE difference right there. You honestly think Star Trek wasn't hopeful? Answer me that smart guy and stop deflecting with the percentage business because frankly if a show that dares to call itself Star Trek IS nihilist then that's 100% different than what I saw before 2009.

You sound just like the fans that bitched about every incarnation of Star Trek being not "real Star Trek" since 1987. I know that this may be hard for you to understand and to process, but this show clearly wasn't created, produced, or designed for it's aging, anal, whiny, canon-obsessed fans. That fanbase is fading away, and isn’t large enough anymore to keep Enterprise from being cancelled, or Nemesis from tanking. DSC was designed for a younger, more progressive, open-minded group. This was necessary to keep the franchise alive. If this show was designed similar to its older shows, it would have died a slow and painful death, like Enterprise. i hope he does show up on discovery, bc then itll be a such a reunion for him. he playd noonian's ancestor in enterprise, the miracle of him playing noonian now is close to none. and yet still plausible xD
Truly, it's because of that goofing around on set that the group became such a tight-knit family and worked so well together. Michael Dorn tells the story of how the set of DS9 was so different from that (but still a great series in my opinion).
Fantastic panel. Love how much they talk about Brent's theater career. Thanks for posting. P.S. Do you by chance have a full video of the Doctor's panel to post?
I wish I had been able to wait in line for him at Fan Expo Toronto a few years back. Watched him enthusiastically speaking and signing , until he was one of the last Artists there. Long line for a reason!
Brent is a very talented actor, remember that episode where he got possessed by thousands of aztec gods? he played everyone flawlessly and switched between them in seconds.
I kept expecting him to talk about his new show Picard. A branding issue...Marketing thought Stewart would get more viewers, but it's really a show about Data, and so on.
The scenery is a little awkward. TNG themed panel, TNG actor, most topics are about the Picard show but the big wall behind him says "Discovery". Have you ever seen something being more out of place? ...
Last year you had more panels. Sadly this is your only one? Guess you got out of the Nimoy Theater more times this year to disappointment of us that wanted to see more panels :(
@@jaimebastidas358 I await with hope you got many I look wanted to see panel wise. Thanks for capturing the Beth Toussaint moment at Dorn/Crosby/McFadden panel yesterday with the captions in 2018 last year :)
Data, Riker, Troi, Seven and Hugh are only returning for episode 1. It's just Picard and the new cast for the other 9 episodes of season 1. So says the IMDb.
Having all them back is like when William Shatner played Kirk in the movies he was great but he wasn't Kirk if that makes since. It was like he was TJ Kirk or James T Hooker. . .Seven of Nine isn't the same anymore. Picard is still Picard but the rest have lost their Star Trek. . . Just sayin
I would just like to say hello Data. Thanks for thousands of hours of entertainment. Look at my avatar thanks to your character I'm able to get over 100 mpg in my car.
@@JayV98 many didn't, but I liked it a lot, but that was because Anson Mount was great and the writing was improved (other characters were more likable as well). A show with him and number one (and the irascible engineer) would be good. Jar Jar burnham was less annoying (perhaps) then earlier.
Brent, always good. Organization of event, thou. He should already know where to sit, host should do most of the to talking when he came out. Musicians should know when to stop, which wouldn't of been their fault but the organizers of the event. Great set, thou.
I really appreciate the time, cost, and effort involved in filming and posting this. Thanks!

Amazing. Thank you for filming this and that you were so close to the front is fantastic.
LLAP 🖖
Brent Spiner is awesome but every time I see him now I keep wondering if he will look like Dr Noonian Soong in the near future.

Love how Brent talks about fellow actors. Teasing but with love.
This is awesome, Jaime! Your posting efforts are very much appreciated by all of us. Thank you! :)
Leif Whitmore you are welcome. I just wish I had more time and freedom to do more!
loved it especially when he bust out his Patrick Stewart impression
Spiner is jumping back into the 'Data' role at 70 years-old.
Brent Spiner is hilarious, talented, and bloody fantastic.
"Precious little..."
Thanks for letting us know, Mr Spiner.
Great to see some more Brent. Thanks Jaime

I love Brent's stories about the TNG cast. I know he always tells them in every convention but it's funny. I guess that's why they pay him.
Thank you!!! I have been waiting on pins and needles!
I would love to meet this great actor!
Dude I was at STLV!! I went dressed as Lal and got a photo with him and saw this show it was amazing😊
Awww great... Thanks... Now I gonna have to start watching TNG all over again. 🤭
Brent Spiner Data Jeeeahhhhh The Next Generation Star Trek The New Future !!!!
Thanks for uploading!
This man is awesome.
Hope Geordie and Worf return too in some capacity at least. Even Wesley come on!
NEVER Wesley!
Please, anything but Wesley.
Wil Wheaton did well in Dark Matter, would love to see him back in the Picard series, even if only briefly (other he could be too powerful a Deus EX)
Next generation was executed to perfection
He made a movie back in the '80s, called "Rent Control".
Fantastic panel. Love how much they talk about Brent's theater career. Thanks for posting. P.S. Do you by chance have a full video of the Doctor's panel to post?
I loved his madcap scientist role on Independence Day
it always works I love Starfleet
I don't know why I just realized he's Dr. Okun in Independence Day
"Riker is the largest, he's bigger than doors"
Another reason why he's a Riker maneuver.
His Saturday night show was outstanding
Thank you Jaime!
Awesome thanks!
this was great!... that tag on the bottom of the couch.. I can't.
I wish I had been able to wait in line for him at Fan Expo Toronto a few years back. Watched him enthusiastically speaking and signing , until he was one of the last Artists there. Long line for a reason!
He didn't make money on Night Court but it was that role that made him famous and then became Data
Brent is a very talented actor, remember that episode where he got possessed by thousands of aztec gods? he played everyone flawlessly and switched between them in seconds.
Too bad he's not going to be a regular on the show, and that he will either be B4 or it will be some kind of flashback scenes with Data...
Nemesis was an excellent movie !! Highly underrated.......

Musical theatre-wise, I would love to see him play The Wizard in Wicked.
#STAR TREK.
Great Job Jaime!
he def dose not move like a man that's 70
Do you have more videos of the panels?
More will get posted 🖖🏼
Who is that red head wow.
This confirms that Picard is in a Holodeck with Data .. damn .. he really is dead

He came back for the writing??? Clearly he hasn't watched Discovery. It would not surprise me if he hadn't.
Actors have a different perspective on things e.g. Tennant knows and likes Jodi.
Discovery season 2 was great.

The writing was better than the writing for TNG during it's first 2 seasons. lol
He specifically mentioned Alex Kurtzman's writing, among others.
That black chick though.
Damn.
Or, Brent Spinhole, as we used to call him at school.
If Discovery has taught me anything, it's that Picard is going to destroy another generation of Trek.
You can thank Kurtzman for that. Would have fired him long ago.

Creation does very well with this event, but I'm sure that they will give your suggestions their due weight. lol
I hope that wasnt genuine admiration for kirtsman however you spell it smh.. The story thief himself
Too bad we have to see a banner for the worst Star Trek show EVER behind Spiner.

Get a life, will you people?
For crying out loud its *just* a TV show.
You've turned something Shatner did as a lark in to a colossal waste of time.

kaiya thomas girl I think your weird it’s just a tease so chili baby
Gail chord Schuler needs medical aid.
I honestly can’t stand his hubris.
Oh yeah, forgot he was in both Independence Day movies. It pains me to see him in such horrible pieces of propaganda for the US Army.
The US military had nothing to do with the first Independence Day. They didn't want to be involved with Area 51 subject matter.
@@MotoroidARFC Hey, watch Renegade Cut and Pop Culture Detective's videos on Independence Day, they'll explain it better than I could.
