Great video! I was out there for birding earlier this year, mid-March 2022. We took a boat ride with Conservancy Hornby Island from the dock on the south side up to the north east corner of the island. It was peak spawn time at that point, and the wildlife around was just nuts. Sea lions everywhere, several dozen different species of birds, huge flocks of some of them. What an amazing place, I can't wait to go diving there some day.
Thanks man! I haven't been back since. I'll have to get back there in 2023 for the herring run. It's amazing man, above and below. Hornby Island is incredible.
This is my favourite one of all yours that I've seen. Would have loved a couple more minutes of those otters. Apparently this year's herring spawn was much bigger.
Haha thanks buddy! I actually have about 2 mins of those otters. I stopped filming after they all simultaneously emptied their bowls though lol. Pretty nasty sight. I guess all you can eat herring will do that to ya!
All good! I've since improve on my editing and figured the volume out. To bad TH-cam didn't allow editing after a video was published or I'd fix it up.
@@ianr4654 I bought a used iMac late 2015 edition. Just the free software, iMovie. It's pretty easy to use and does a decent job. Editing 4k can be a lot for some computers to handle so look into your computer specs if you use that quality.
