I gave this a thumbs-down for the uncanny resemblance to PigPatrolTv's name. He's been around since 2011. Not sure if Ty PigPatrol is affiliated/collabing, but I don't see any reference to his channel or content in the description of this vid. Hopefully this channel isn't just trying to ride the coattails of another.
Also, the forced perspective/camera zoom/lens on the steelhead at 7:09 was a bit much. Nice fish, indeed, but no need to make it look even bigger. Maybe that wasn't the intention, but it sure seemed like a classic camera trick for the reactions.

Interesting about those target fish wanting to kill/crush their competitors eggs.
I wonder how he discerned that refined bit of fish psychology. It's like discerning whether robbing a convenience store owned by a Pakistani was done for profit or was in fact a "hate crime." If you are an equal-opportunity thief, glad to go wherever the money is, we give you a slap on the wrist and call you naughty. If, however, you employ affirmative action in choosing your victim, we hit you with the book. We now punish people for what they were "thinking" ... for what the motive was in their head when committing a crime. Remember when 20 years ago people were talking about the "thought police"? They're here, folks. No longer is there equal protection under the law. Certain ethnic groups are more protected than others.
Using egg-bait is entrapment ... it deliberately incites fish to commit battery on other fish-ethic groups and must be stopped. Call your congressman (or woman) and insist that fishermen (and women) no longer be permitted to promote ichthyological hate crimes. This is serious business America.

We fished for these in Indiana and there were chinooks in the same size creek that went over 40 pounds. When you hook up, you yell fish on and run up and down the Creek fighting them. Great video!!!

Great looking steelhead! I used to catch steelhead with egg sacks dipped in a vasoline berkeley steelhead/salmon scent. The vasoline mix did not wash off of the egg sack so easily. I used king salmon egg sacks as bait. Now that you caught steelies and maybe some browns, try catching a coho or king on that 7ft rod and line set up!!!

Never understood why these American youtube-anglers never use floats or bobbers as u call em when baitfishing and instead go for freelining. With a float you can keep the bait at the prefered place and depth and obviously you get perfect bitedetection. Oh and beautiful fish!

Love bobber fishing. I can catch huge panfish all day on docks and rock walls with a bobber, you can set it deep and put a full night crawler on and catch big bass, and I like using one for lake/reservoir trout.

I'll tell you why it got so many thumbs down... the Clown with the net nearly knocked the fish off, 3 times , in an effort to net the fish.. If I was the one playing the fish I would have told him to get out the way until it was ready to be netted... If he had knocked the fish off while ineptly trying to net it... I would have thrown him the water....... While I am playing out a fish, NO ONE attempts to net the fish until I am ready and then I do it myself.
