This is great.. we should ALL be living in cob houses! I love the natural look, you have made this one very attractive. Great to see one built from start to finish in so much detail & info. Thank you 😁👍🏼
@@sandraconner6968you build a cob house in a 4 season climate that has cold and snowy winters however the cob house will not be warm naturally in Winter. You will need to insulate walls, floors and roof. Cob is not a naturally good insulator for cold weather.
I have wanted to build a small cob house for many years. We are traveling for the next 4-5 years between Mexico and Argentina, in search of our favorite cool weather retirement city. We are 56 and 61. My biggest fear is not getting the sand/clay mixture right. Great video !
This is a real pain if you do this by yourself. It takes forever. I built a few 8x8x6 chickens pens and it took forever. Definitely recruit your friends to help.

Thank you! 🙏🙏 Glad you are enjoying the series :)
In colder climates, you can't make cob houses, correct?!

Nicely done video! Good visual, not too much audio, minimal music. I'm going to look at your previous videos and of course the subsequent!
Thank you 🙏 Glad you enjoyed it :)
Super un Grand Merci ! ❤

Starts at 1 ft at the base and tapers up to 8 inches at the top

Thank you so much! Glad you found it useful 🙏
what is the tool you are using for cutting the bottles?! its a beautiful solution.
What about eletrical and plumbing? Would like to have some insights about.
Know where you're going to have your plumbing, then stub it out.
How do you run electrical through these builds?
I'd attach conduit to the wall then run the wiring through it. It's up to code here in the North Country. It cuts down on the mouse/wiring fires here.
Why won't you let them dry and make adobes? I think itll be a better structure and last forever!
Any update from you guys? New video??
The next video is finished I just need to upload it. Will do that soon! :)
