All the dirt and grit has to be cleaned out first. I used Dawn in a water spray, a flat screw driver with a cloth, and it came out black with grit. Then used the silicone after. Worked great.
Use the same stuff to wipe down all the plastics inside. Brings them back to showroom!!! I was amazed. Gives them the shine back like you wouldn't believe.
You could also preclean the tracks with a rag, flat screwdriver , maybe some kinda cleaner first ,then apply the silicon . May work even better, but good video anyway .
My 02 F350 drivers window work good until about 3/4 down then sticks. I have to put slight downward pressure on it then it goes down. Going to try this hack. Thanks
I Just bought a 2002 camry.. windows did the same thing... Cleaned the tracks with rainx waterproof on a flathead screwdriver.. now they are are super fast.

My father in law was a mechanic and he always used graphite powder for the windows.

Thanks so much for your help, my windows on my Nissan Frontier are working well now.
thanks man , i just recently sprayed some wd40 dry lube in my tracks on my 2018 chevy , it also makes them quieter too!
I’ll have to check that stuff out!
Clean it first because it gets dirty over time...then use the lube

You failed to clean out the tracks on the sides. Try that and it should improve the windows moving.
Gas mileage must be phenomenal in that beast.....😂👍🏻🤪🇨🇦

You didn’t clean out your track first.
Someone replaced the OEM window motor with Chinese cheap junk.
Very possible man! I preach OEM AC Delco on this channel. Just did a break job on my 2014 with AC Delco pads. Stay tuned!
