Ever since reading Azikwe's autobiography entitled My Odyssey and as I got to know Nigeria; I understand it is a massive effort to get Nigerians agree on national proririties. It is made up of various peoples with regional and ethnic interests. But making Nigeria self sufficient in feeding itself from its own agricultural sector; should be everyone's interest. As Nigeria rises; we rise too. Keep up this hard work. We will get there together.

one of the biggest problem of agriculture in Nigeria is the buying power of the citizens. most ppl have very low disposable income to buy food at correct prices. and those who do, are yet to align their priorities. so it's most times easier to buy cheaper imported ones which are substandard and filled with carcinogens.
