I’m from Dallas born and raised. I’ve always said the best thing about Dallas is the variety of restaurants.

I totally agree! Which part of the metro is the best tho??

@@DallasRelocationGuide I think Dallas is too spread out to pick any particular side of the metroplex. I say oak cliff/south Dallas is probably the best when it comes to small mom and pops restaurants.

I really want to move and have never loved outside of my state. Your videos make that possibility way less scary. I’ve been watching them all week and I feel like I’m getting the pros and cons, thank you!

For the folks moving to Texas. We do not care about how things were done in the state you left. Come here and enjoy bbq, vibes, and good people.

Haha, straight to the point! Texas definitely has its own thing going on, and part of the fun is embracing that BBQ, the laid-back vibes, and the friendly folks. What’s your favorite part about Texas life that you think new people should really soak in when they move here?

@@DallasRelocationGuide As a native you can appreciate the entire state. Each region has its own unique culture.
You have The Big Bend area for the people who love to camp. It’s great fishing throughout, but for the DFW area you have Lake Ray Roberts, Ray Hubbard, and Lake Tawakoni.
I’m not big on the night light but when I do go out with the wife. We tend to hang out at the shops of legacy in Plano.

I agree. I went to Dallas last year and was ready to pack up and move. It was so spacious and clean. I really enjoyed my time there. I’m from the Bay Area but live in San Diego (Cali is dirty now 😢)... Dallas might see me soon ☀️

20+ yrs here: its not cheap, all there is to do eat, eat and eat, go to church and boring stuffy clubs, ppl are nicer but not sugary sweet, there are job opportunities everywhere, its clean and a lot of luxury, no nature trails, no adventure. A lot for kids to do, but its not an adult city meaning there is not a lot of things for adults to do. Weather will eventually get on ur nerves.

My mom is from Texas and I just moved here, considered a millennial I honestly don’t like the infrastructure here with the amount of people moving here and all the growth in these cities/small towns. It’s imperative with children’s and families and these schools pedestrians walking on these high speed limit roads in places that Texas start putting more sidewalks, curbs, slower speed limit and guard rails and get rid of some these trees coming over roads and trim them and trucks have a route. This is my opinion.

I lived in Dallas for 3years sofar and not a fan of the vibe of people I seen sofar it’s straight up vibe that they really don’t like and want you here and there patrons about it to,,,the most hateful vibes I got from being here sofar is from Mexican men and young men and Indians and Asians and a few whites sofar-no lie,,,,I love all colors of people but I don’t like being treated and disrespected cause of my color ,,,,the dry pippin hot heat is annoying, but I will say they have a lot of jobs here,me personally I’m still a newborn to Texas still learning things on it but sofar far at a ruff start sofar smh,,,some people won’t say the truth on how people really think or treat you here but I’m tell it like it is

Who gives damn bruh! The types of people you named are gonna dislike you no matter where you live... and it ain't because of our skin color either. This beef is thousands of years old, bruh! As far as contemporary times, I don't give a shit about what immigrants think about anything, good or bad. Your main problem is having love for groups of people that don't accept you. We don't have to habour hatred toward them, but we don't have to suck up to them either. The video is about how you like the City of Dallas itself, not the social politics. Racial animosity isn't going anywhere, so don't let minor shit like that keep you from making money.

Dallas and Houston have the same amount of Black people ....With MORE Black people moving to Dallas every year than Houston. So it won't be long before Dallas Blacks will outnumber Houston...If it hasn't already happened.
